Im thinking he's making the Imae MC fall for him because he knows the Imae will really suit his king brother's taste. Like, his brother would really fall for the Imae, which is plenty obvious now.. he's lusting and drooling for that beautiful Imae already. He's prolly thinking once the Imae is head over heels for him, he can ask the Imae to do his bidding and concoct schemes for his king brother's downfall
He probably was the one that killed the Imae's mother too.. he prolly has his own gun manufactured secretly, and used that to kill the Imae's mother.. since everybody thinks only the king has a gun.. of course Imae would assume it was no one else but the King that killed his mom. *im thinking this because Imae and his mom actually lived quite far from the actual village. As if someone with the king's personality would really scout the area just to look for their house yknow. The mom's murder was done with intent and not just a game for fun. The mf king would toy with his preys before killing them so it doesnt make sense that the mom was just shot inside the house like that.. im betting somebody else did it or its the kind brother that did it. He knows where they fuckin live*
Im thinking the kind brother is after the throne fr. Even if he eventually does have feelings for the Imae later on.. i've got a strong feeling that he's using the Imae to seduce his king brother. He knows that the Imae would have a strong reason for revenge on the King due to his mother's death so im guessing his plan it to make his king brother fall for the Imae, then once it happens, he's expecting the Imae to kill his king brother.. then he'd prolly capture the Imae after the deed is done and make him take the fall.. then he'd ascend on the throne. He wouldnt be brandished as an usurper or a rebel because it was someone else that killed his brother, so he'd get to keep his "nice guy" character. Yuck.
