I feel like the mc and the red head are just cheating behind their friend's back? Idk it feels weird seeing them meeting up in secret and being so affectionate.
If he truly is supposed to be the ml then you can count me out on this one, it feels as if the author is excusing cheating just because the mc and him are supposed to end up together.

Don't worry, there is definitely no cheating. The engaged 2 have no feelings for each other. They are only keeping it to keep each other safe. And the red head likes the mc buts he only likes them both like puppies shes raising. If there were feelings involved with the engaged 2, I'd wholeheartedly agree xD, cause then it'd be so scummy.

I understand that when ur MC is that powerful you need to make excuses to keep the tension and the story beats interesting, otherwise it would be anticlimactic to just have them win effortlessly. However, this method gets tiring and frustrating after this many chapters. At this point, Raglard is more of a main charter than Yuria.

Man I'm so tired of petty ignorant ML like this, if blanche or the MC weren't so amusing I wouldn't have added this to my reading list.

... yeah. I guess that <SPOILER ALERT>
Having your first wife rape you until she conceived a child should not leave a hint of trauma on the poor guy, huh? I’ve always been impressed by women who keep the child after they were raped, because I personally don’t think I’d be able to do that. Because then unless you give the child up, you have to love the child.
Men, especially those in the king’s position, don’t have those options. Is it the child’s fault? Of course not. But you can’t claim not to understand why he hasn’t been able to open up His heart to the child. Unless trauma isn’t something you can empathize with, you can’t say that on some level at level at least, you don’t get why he’s been excessively cold to them both. You can’t say you don’t see why he was relieved when the FL said she wanted separate beds since, as he mentioned, he was never able to sleep with her by his side. Or why he looked terrified when he thought she would kiss him. Or why he won’t even entertain having any other wife.
Yet a man with such a trauma still managed to listen to what she said and made the effort to have dinner with them both.
As far as I’m concerned, he’s excused.
P.S: I felt free to go on a rant in my spoiler because you made it sound like you already knew what kind of shxt he went through.

tbf the original Abigail was kind of notorious for her personality/past antics so him being skeptical of her so far seems about right.
And I agree his past is pretty traumatic but should not be his whole identity so him neglecting Blanche is a bit of a turndown cause who could do that to such a sweet child ┗( T﹏T )┛ but the upside is on the level of douchebaggery for MLs, he's certainly higher on the list only because he provided for his wife and child's daily needs aside from love and care and he does seem like he can understand when he's in the wrong with the MC and apologize so let's hope he keeps growing lol

I don't understand how people can ship phos with anyone, at least for me, no one in this universe seems to truly care for them, even cinnabar only took interest on them because of a promise that would only benefit themselve. To me there were only three characters that acted decently towards phos: ghost quartz, barbata and that big lunarian that phos slept on in the wedding. Everyone else (even sensei) either dismissed phos or hated them for no reason.

I feel like the author wasted away ruda in such an revolting way. Such an interesting character, with countless possibilities for different interesting plotlines, but the author decided to slowly chip out every unique characteristic he had and made him a jealous love interest. I could physically feel the chemistry between him and mc, however with the author's consistent need to remind us that he is not one of the original love interests made me give up on him as a good romantic partner to MC, it's infuriating that they made him for us to hate on, even though he is one of the most compelling personalities in the manhwa . Honestly, I love the ruda we never had the chance to actually meet or like but I hate the one we got.

So u treated her so badly because of jealousy .....that's so pathetic...

but what would happen if you fell in a hole with no love since birth, always pressured and thinking that you didn't do good enough, and blinded by despair? obviously that's how a child would react if they never got any love nor being praised by their own parents for something they did. it feels meaningless.

SPOILERS
So basically he was envious of her and jealous and stuff but he didn't treat her like shit and abused her out of his own will. Jieun poisoned him which made him go haywire and like, controlled him in a sense? Which is why he acted like that towards the FL. The ML didn't even kill the FL's dad in their past life as well as I've gathered. Apparently he thought he could use him to keep the FL close? Anyways during execution day the ML tried to stop the FL from getting killed but bitch face Jieun (who dresses worse than Trashta I mean seriously-) stopped him and held him back.
Overall it's just stupid the author justified whatever the ML did by saying "oh he was being controlled, he wasn't acting on his free will because of the poison Jieun gave her" which is kinda a half assed story building thing ngl
I also think people are forgetting that this is the second timeline--wayyyyy before this guy even started abusing her and treated her like shit (which was apparently the result of a poison).

He was a child... with no one guiding and teaching him what the right morals were; even loving him.. They were just there watching him overwork himself. That easly grew to be hatred and all that. I have seen so many cases in real life where people suffered, as children, from a tribial matter -to me- and they become traumatized or full of recentment just for that. But that doesnt take away any importance from what they felt right then.
Wth is going on in this arc man
I'm confused too
