It seemed like there was something off about it...? The plot didn’t really grab me for some reason and the conversation didn’t seem very natural? It had all the properties of a good manga but it just didn’t work for me. But I do really appreciate that the ML (not the ex) waited till she was ready and didn’t abuse his power in any way. Also side note the ex is an absolute piece of shit and deserves to stay single for the rest of his life. He showed zero respect for the FL and looked down on her in every way possible, only trying to get her back when he wouldn’t get a job??? Like wtf???

The plot was for sure cute (if not a bit basic) other than the annoying friend who didn’t say a single good thing about Mari and then acted all buddy buddy to her face... but also he gave up on Mari so quickly without actually talking to her... and the most important part... THERE WAS NOT AN OUNCE OF SMUT????? I thought it might be a slow burn and have a smutty scene at the end but there was nothing more than a kiss??? Without the smut this just becomes another typical highschool romance shoujo manga （￣へ￣）

Bruh I was thinking the same :/ I always found this trope annoying cause it’s like in situations where the parents are going it not out of greedy for connections it would make SENSE to just change it up and still have a plot than the parents always just throwing whatever kid they got left to them. And idk why they expect it to work since when they meet the real person they’re like who the fuck are you?
The wedding??? Becoming mates??? The relationship decently developing??? Bitch WHERE? This had so much potential but it just ended with a let down. Like understandably suzuki needs time to feel ready to become mates but like?? Maybe don’t end the manga and show that progression? I mean it was cute but also the other omega was just completely yeeted out of the plot after chapter three? There totally could’ve been a reveal where he found out about the aphrodisiac and tried to break them up and Suzuki could show development by backing Utsumi and professing his love or some shit and becoming mates/getting married or whatever. THAT would’ve been a satisfying ending but this was just... not it（￣へ￣）
