Kinda felt forced, doesn't really add up and feels more like an ass pull than an actual ending to this arc. Doesn't explain why aqua died in his previous life nor explain how why he didn't just take responsibility after. Funnily enough he continues to murder after. Pretty shitty
I felt the opposite way about it tbh, I could see this coming a mile away even before this arc started, it felt properly and carefully set up and only like the natural progression of the story.
