Im rlly scared of fires and terror attacks. When i close my eyes i see burning people and pitch black places, that scare me so much I can’t sleep, I sleep for few hours per day for the last week, and I manage to sleep only bc I can’t fight against exhaustion, my eyes just close and i wake up after 2-3 hours bc of anxiety and frightening. I don’t have money to go to specialist.
Mb you have some experience with that? How to fight against it?
I usually watched YouTube bc every time it’s dark and silent I’m getting scared…

I also have the same fear of natural disasters. Especially regarding earthquakes. There were many times when I suddenly woke up from my sleep due this fear. I felt like there was an earthquake even though it wasn't happening. Although it may seem strange, regular sleep hours can contribute to such fears. It's like going to bed at 11 and waking up at 6-7 or something. But everyday same hours. Over time, this fear of mine decreased, but strangely, when I go to bed late, I start to become more paranoid about many things. Frankly, I don't have great advice. Likewise, staying away from social media and news for a few weeks may also help. If you can, even delete the apps.
