It's something I took a look into when I started reading BL. It took awhile to understand that it's a turn-on for some people. I'm just going to guess that being devoured is like a turn on, but then again it's fantasy and so it is a safe place for them to fantasize about something that IRL they would not be able to handle. It's fascinating what ppl feel comfortable with in fantasy but not irl. Nobody would want it done to them. I have a morbid relationship w/ it. I'll read what I can and leave the rest. If I get into something over my head it takes a few days to get over it. It hasn't happened yet but if it's too much then I take a breather. There was one where I cried so much because their relationship was really messed up. Granted, I was reading with MTL so the translation was HORRIBLE but I still cried my eyes out. This was a novel though but the manhwa adaptation is out. I actually start reading novels once I start reading a manhwa if it's new and I want to find out more.
