I think your situation is no easy, but you are not alone. I have friends that are gay and catholic (another religion that do not support gay communities) . Personally I find it really disturbing and I try to avoid them. I know is fantasy and all, but I feel that when is such clear trend we're normalizing something that is a real traumatic experience for a lot of people.
