wanna waste time reading my full analyst of elaine's attitude, development of the story and why i like where the story is headed?
read my **300** word essay:
i feel that alejandro is pretty selfish when it comes to going about his way with ibelina. this selfish behaviour is only strictly shown when anything is related to her, and ibelina knows herself.
this is a great opportunity for alejandro to develop his character!! and also for ibelina to meet new people. maybe people from the original story? tho i doubt it
but elaine's also being slightly reasonable as someone had mention below. she did consider a lot of stuff, but that fact alone she didnt. the fact that it was alejandro, not ibelina, who was too shameless when it came to interacting in a way that could make everyone misunderstand.
elaine could be
1. protecting them both by separating them, preventing the rumours to get worse (or maybe reach outside the manor) tho i highly doubt this
2. being hypocritical bastards, they're trying to "care" and do their job "right"
3. find her suspicious, thinking she has bad intentions. probably thinking she'll use alejandro's attention in her advantage.
4. just being a straight on bitch because we need an antagonist to keep this story flowing.
remember that old butler guy who talked to elaine and warned her about ibelina? (source: chp 32, pg 32/chp 25, pg 12), elaine was verbally told to do something about the situation.
some might justify that shes a good character because she was only told to separate them and that she considered everything..

considering all this, the story's going full on "shit hit the fan" mode. maybe alejandro might fire workers, making everything even worse ╮(￣▽￣)╭
maybe the workers will twist the reason why she left to alejandro. saying to alejandro "she wanted to leave herself so we said why not"
if that does happen, hopefully alejandro's judgement wont be blinded from the stress of the situation, lies/pressure from the workers, overthinking, etc.
or he might just think his subordinates are all dumbasses for even trying to lie to him and might end up firing them all lol
i wish that could happen

It is not they want gary to look bad here, it only became like that in harrison side, since he kept that he was from a wealthy family and his mother sent someone to tell them that gary has already a fiancee without gary knowledge but harrison's sister didnt believe it and wanted to hear it from gary's mouth unfornately she gave to birth to will 2 months early than expected and caused her to lose her life.
To gary's side he knew that harrison's sister passed away because of accident when his mom told him abt it a month after the funeral.
When gary said that viola confused and just wanted to clear the misunderstanding that it wasnt the cause of death.
In short it just a big misunderstanding and the one to blame is garys mom that why he cut off his tied with his mom right. ╮(￣▽￣)╭

Gary accepting Harry's anger and Harry's anger is understandable. I don't know why people think Gary was made to look bad. Even though Gary was just another victim to his mother's meddling, Gary had to receive all that anger for what his mother did. That's how family works. His mother's punishment was to lose his one and only biological son.
And the OP was frustrated why Viola did not tell Harry about Gary's story when she knew it earlier on. To which I replied that it wasn't Viola's place to tell it. I was not confused on anything.
OP mentioned confirmed being murdered or something, which I don't remember being mentioned in the story.

that was the only thing i was iffy about in the story but it looks like i just misunderstood and forgot to consider those things!! last update was nearly two months ago so i dived straight into reading the new chapters, i didnt reread (which is a huge dumbass move now that i think about it)
and yea pennyinheaven, i agree with u now that i cooled down. i guess i was pretty put off by kwon's attitude for denying to meet with gary so it messed with my judgement when it came to understanding exactly why viola didnt tell kwon immediately (￣∇￣") (and its understandable that he didnt want to meet gary, considering all the misunderstandings)
but im still confused as to why the creators didnt give gary and kwon's "argument" in the end more screentime

For the screentime, I guess because we readers are following Viola's perspective more than the other characters. Since Viola wasn't in the room, we don't get to see much of their conversation.
