I dropped it because literally 40 chapters of this is just her with that holy knight guy. I came here for her and her demon king father not this dude idk it's just so boring. Also the guy literally forced her into adoption, she literally told him that she has family and he still wouldn't let her go. He legitimately forced and kidnapped her, I genuinely don't care if he sees her as his daughter and treats her right because in the end her ultimate goal is for her DAD. THE DEMON KING.

This fucking shit was a waste of my time, 50 chapters in and he only just found out that she's the crown princess of the demons AND she still isn't back to the demon castle yet. How great. Another 100 more useless chapters until they reunite. Glad I'm dropping this.

Update: I came back and only read chapter 64 just to see if the demon king finally meets her again and hoorayy he does....and he still didn't get to watch her grow up. When he said she grew up so fast and how he didn't get to watch her grow, that genuinely really hurt. This is giving me another reason not to pick this back up. I feel so bad for him, he's her dad yet he didn't even get to raise her properly because of a certain someone. I'm done.

Honestly this series sticks out to me like a sore thumb, even after months I still remember so much of it
I genuinely enjoyed reading this series and will definitely reread it again
There are some parts where I'm like it could've been better but the only thing I'm not a big fan of was the idea towards the end with Yu an dying and his soul being placed inside of the prince's body but I'm ok with it and it makes more sense rather than to revive his dead body. The ending was still satisfying regardless of me not being a fan of the sudden body switch and it's good to know that he'd still love Yu an even if Yu an wasn't in his original body. He's really committed, gotta love him for that lol
