Yeah you’re right there is some characters that are very lovable and stuff and that make it feel lighter but this one’s a little bit like when you get in there you get in there and there’s no saving grace it’s like a well and either you jump like a frog out of it but you can bounce off the walls to get there
One of the parts that I love about this novel is the existence of mugwort. It's literally their version of birth control and I'm glad the author gave Lucia that choice for her body.
Uhmmm. It made her infertile which is not birth control. The whole part with the mugwort is so sad I almost cried. No one taught her about her own body, so she basically poisoned herself.
Not to head out spoilers if you don’t want it but...
Due to her having memories of her previous iteration of this life, she had discovered that she had NOT made her self in fertile but instead had merely put a pause on her menstruation. Trough a very key character (wink) she discovered that through very easy methods she could restore her fertility. It’s a plot line that suggests fate dictated her and Hugo were meant to be but that’s all I’m gonna say :3

It is good that she didn't make herself completely infertile, but it is still a really sad part of the story. She didn't really have a "choice." She was ignorant because no one cared about her and made a lucky discovery that she believed at first damaged her body.
Idk about the novel, but the webtoon is definitely not making this discovery thing an empowering womanly choice.
Not 'yet'. If you don't mind getting spoiled, yes, initially it was out of ignorance but Lucia's been aware of the cure to her 'infertility' and she had the choice to take the medicine right after her dream ended but she didn't. This is why I'd like to still think of it as birth control. She chose her 'infertility''.
Oh, I thought that she was not aware of medicine in the story right now. That she would only discover it later in the story. This is why spoilers can be confusing. lol
