I really loved the story!!!... but after some thinking I realized that the story would have actually been way more interesting if Zhang Quang fell in love with that green ghost. First of all, Shen Qing is kind of a pretty replaceable boring character : if you replace him by a small puppy that is weak and scared but still very curious, the story probably wouldn't change that much (and be even cuter). So despite me thinking that the green spirit is a really interesting character... IF Zhang Quang fell in love with him it would add so much more to the story. You would have the drama of him wanting to help Shen Quing but not wanting to kill his loved one or the conflict of their souls slowly seeming to become one. If Shen Quing got into an accident, Zhang Quang would be shaken between worrying about a good friend and worrying about his lover (cause worrying more about one of them would be kind of cruel). Maybe the spirit would be jealous 'cause Zhang Quang spends so much time with Shen Quing. Shen Quing would be pulled into that love story which also has soo much potential for DRAMA if you think about his point of view and if he also fell in love with Zhang Quang you would have even mooore drama... aaalso: maybe the spirit eventually has to go to 'the other side' at some point and you could make it all sad and stuff and then create a happy end by the fact that Zhang Quang's mother was a spirit, like he could make a bond between their two souls with his spiritual powers so that they always stay together. The spirit stays with him until Zhang Quangs time is up and they go to the afterlife together where they will also be inseparable. The peerfect cute and deeply moving ending... Well, in my opinion xD
