Is it still problmatic? Yes, to a large audience it is. At the same time, to a large audience, it is not. And since they are in no way blood related and she was literally only picked up because she looked similar, we don't have a clear verdict. So if you don't agree, go talk to the official author and tell em what you think, don't keep coming here every time it updates to drop your two cents or you'll be out of change :)

I'm well aware all these tropes are overused- it's the way the story is narrated that make it an interesting read. Most stories get boring when they start stretching out arcs- which is normal since these are all light novels. Some manage to pick up the pace, some I read just to fill the time. Tbh, I don't even need to complain since I'm reading it for free, but I was quite tired the day I commented this, usually I refrain from complaining.
