So apparently Scarlet's dead best friend created a secret organization that only the truly powerful could be a part of - which most likely got her killed. And they have something to do with Scarlet's death as well. Now they are out of control, dealing drugs and desperate for entertainment. Plus that drug apparently sets free one's desires and inhibitions.

Guys, please don't forget that this is a comedy. Where the main punchline is a delusional, tsundere MC who thinks she is an evil mastermind.
She is not going to fall. Both the Prince and the original MC are very thankful to her for helping them get together. Her father probably knows what he is doing. And she most likely will marry her butler in order to bring shame to her family and fix the power imbalance.

"This 'José' is pronounced 'Zhozay' in the Brazilian fashion" - Wait, does that mean that blondie is Brazilian? ヾ(☆▽☆)
.
.
.
BTW, "Zhozay" and "José" do sound similar according to Google translator, but the stronger syllable should be the second one, not the first.
The Brazilian pronunciation is something like:
- "Jo-" like in the JO from "Joe"
- "-sé" like in the ZE from "zeppelin"

Let me guess: the older girl was also reincarnated and was ready to cry and play the victim no matter what the younger one did. And, like the MC, was waiting for the king to be nice to her.
Btw, some explanation to why the king went from ignoring his magic-less child to protecting her would have been nice. It felt too sudden!

I get the feeling that they both idealize the life the other has and will be forced to face reality once they become close. One is the heir of a company who wishes to be free and the other is a self made man working hard to keep up appearances so that he can be truly rich one day (fake it until you make it!).
I guess once they get together they will realize that the life they dreamed of is not that amazing and learn to value the life they have. And that maybe the uke will be able to help the seme to grow faster in the company, like the title says.

Exactly. I'm so glad someone picked up the same stuff from this that I have.
I definitely love how the author's debunking both many manhwa clichés *and* at at the same time so many mistaken beliefs that lead actual people astray in real life. It's clear she wants them both to be each other's potential trigger for a major life-lesson: that what one person truly needs is not always the same as what they *think* that they want. The seme thinks he wants the life of the elite when in reality he just needs to find true, meaningul recognition and rewards for all the tremendous work and effort he puts in, and the uke thinks he wants to "be freed" when all he really needs is the self-confidence to discard everyone's expectations of him in order to start living life in his own terms.
In short, just two chapters in and we already got ourselves a top quality storyline... just like when readers disbelievingly react all like: "For once...a good plot? ...In my yaoi? ...Lol, how on earth did THAT happen?!" ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ

The extra is a manga-only story. The novel has a (really creepy) extra about a magic puppet opera. But I guess the mangaka wanted to do their own thing ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

I don't remember everything, so read at your own risk.
So after the main story ended, everything was fine. Wolf and Lycoris are happily engaged. And Lycoris takes a interest in theater. In their world there are no actors, since they figured out how to use magic to make these really pretty human sized dolls who can sing and "act" better than any human. But they are nothing but dolls, so even though they can walk and talk, they don't have feelings (or rights).
Lycoris take an interest in the star of the theater in the capital and starts going to every single one of her shows. She insists on meeting her and brings her flowers. After a few meetings, they somehow become friends and start exchanging letters. In one of these visits Lycoris meets the human playwriter of the theater. And feels like there is something going on between them. But that should be impossible, since the actress is a doll.
I don't remember everything that happened between that ^ and the reveal at the end. And although that completely ruins the creepy vibes I got from the story I'll tell you anyway. But if you want the creepy vibes here is the link to the novel: https://www.novelupdates.com/series/it-seems-like-i-got-reincarnated-into-the-world-of-a-yandere-otome-game/

Ready for the big spoiler? Please forgive my faulty memory ( ̄∇ ̄")
Turns out the actress was actually human and was living as a doll all this time. Her father was a doll maker and dedicated all his life to making the perfect doll. To the point where he ignored his family. I don't remember if her mother died or left them, and I may be wrong, but I believe that her father's obsession grew to the point where his daughter considered the unfinished doll her sister. But long story short there is an accident and her father dies before he could finish the doll. And they were going to lose everything. So she decides to make his dreams come true and pretends to be the doll once the owner of the theater comes by to check on the doll. And lives the rest of her life pretending. Until she meets the playwriter and falls in love. But now is too late to go back, so she keeps pretending. There are obstacles. but long story short, Lycoris helps them out and they get together. I think there was something about the ghost of theater too at the end, but that's all I can remember, sorry.
From the comments it seems like I'm the exception. Kircher is my favorite character! And it's frustrating me to no end that since he joined ESPA he has yet to do anything even though he is so OP. I'm putting all my hopes in this new arc. If this keeps happening I'm dropping this.
( ̄へ ̄)
He is definitely the most interesting character. Thus he is also my favorite:-)
