This manga reminds me of the Mortal Instruments series, with the psicological drama around incest. Also, Eri = Magnus Bane ヾ(☆▽☆)
When I started reading this, I thought that the autor would go cliche and the brothers would have a angsty but superficial romance. Not exactly my cup of tea. ¬¬
But then it got so much better! I liked the psicological drama, it added depth to the plot. Plus, I really liked that Nico was not interested in his brother. I mean, considering all that he went through, he could have turned out so much worst. He could have decided to humor Will just to hurt their mother.
Oh, and I like Eri! He is a very charismatic character! I hope that the 2 of them become a lovey dovey couple LOL
Ok... I've heard of girls who prefer their boyfriends a bit on the fat side, but I can't help but think that those two make a really bizarre couple.
It's not that he is fat, it's that they don't seem to be on the same page. I mean, all she wants is to help the clan, she is quite the tsundere and seems to have a fetish that goes against the vampire view of the world. He is only interested in studiyng the supernatural. They don't even realize that they are a couple.
Now, about the werewolfs... It's just me or they are really cute? The entire pack are handsome and so sparkly! And so earnest!
And in the end they were all "Oh, I don't mind staying like this". It warmed my heart to see man that don't seem to think that they are inferior or worst for looking like a woman in some way (=・ω・=)

Ok, let's not talk about how frustrating this is. Let's talk about the plot! :D
So Astador wanted Vald's power, but neither human!Vald nor demon!Vald wanted to help him. At all. (LOL) So he decided to put him(them?) in a coma.
...
What?! Why? So that he can take away his powers? Couldn't he do it with Vald in there? O.o I don't get it. My best guess is that this happened so that Vald would finally be split into 2 bodies (can we have a threesome? Please? *¬*).
I imagine that Astador must be infinitly frustraded. I mean, he went though all that trouble with the original king, only for it to blow up in his face. And in comes Halvir, who not only got the guy (and the demon), but managed to create a simbiotic existence out of their obsession with him. He got everything that Astador ever wanted, without even trying. Demon!Vald would burn down the whole fucking world for him! Not that Astador doesn't deserve it, but sucks to be you, dude.
P.S.: The original king was fucking everybody, holy shit
I posted similar before I saw your post. I think Astador actually has achieved what he wanted all along. He was trying to create this demon in perfect human form. By expelling Vald's consciousness (his soul?) from his body, Astador now has what he wants.
Of course, Havi and Vald aren't going to go down without a fight, but the demon who had bonded with Havi now believes what Astador has told him, that Havi's goal was to expel him from Vald's body, so the demon will be fighting against Havi.
I'm looking forward to seeing how it plays out.
Yeah, but demon!Vald has his(its?) own conscience. This is probably playing out like the fall out of Halvir's death: a few heartfelt words from Halvir and he is back on their side. Not that I'm not looking foward to it, I need my daily intake of cuteness. ;)
What I'm curious about is what are they going to do with human!Vald. I mean, it's highly unlikely that demon!Vald will agree to go back to sharing the body. And doing it while he is unconscious or something will not go well on the long run. Maybe there can be 2 Valds? But then they would need to find a second body and I don't think that's how it works. I really don't know how the author is gonna solve this.
Yeah, I think the demon will have to be sacrificed or sacrifice himself. At least he would be free from having been trapped in the sword all those years.

well that i don't know. the whole fertility thing but since we're talking about demons i'm gonna take quess and say its about power. a demon family that has strong heirs (or demon children) are a power house to be reckon with. Verde and Endo come from high ranking demon families and thus, they have to have strong children. Endo was chosen as the heir to his family inheritence and such because he's more powerful then his two brothers. Verde is pretty powerful as well and the two were close since childhood so it was assumed that these two could produce a strong child with a combo of the two. its really about demon status and the power that comes with that status.

Senpai is really tactless, isn't he? This is Morinaga's home town, the place from where his worst memories come from. Shouldn't Senpai try to be a little more considerate? It can't be easy to be reminded of all the reasons why he never came back.
I think that I get what Senpai was trying to say with all that talk about Morinaga's parents. Family is a really big deal for Senpai. Makes sense that to him, it would be the worst to know that some relative died before they could make up. But the way he aproached it was really blunt and tactless. This is a really big issue for Morinaga. >:(
