Oh, my! What a trip! The art was beautiful and the story, surprisingly good ^^ But if I had to describe it, I would say "shipping hell". For anyone who likes BL, this was hard. Yes, we know that it's shoujo, BUT THERE ARE TOO MANY POTENTIAL COUPLES!!! KitanoXMasaki, HayateXKaren, HayateXSou (yes, please), MasakiXKeiji and of course, SuiXSou (No! Incest, ew! Why you 2 have to be so cute!).
But other then that, it's great. The story was funny and completely different from anything I'd seen before.
About the characters now. The onmyouji were annoying, I really didn't like them. The werewolves, on the other hand, were my favorites! How not to love guys that don't think that there is anything wrong with being feminine? They were totally ok with staying partially female. And didn't even consider the possibility of gang banging/"breeding" the new females - a problem I have with most werewolf related fiction -, just let them choose their own sexual partners. All members of the clan that actually got lines were so sweet! After that, it was pretty hard for me to dislike Hayate LOL Now, the vampires were just weird. Correct me if I'm wrong, but at the end, a species that refused to accept anything less the aesthetically perfect discovered a fat kink and got themselves chubby companions. ...is that right? Well, if that's the case I guess that the overweight people of their world won, since now they have a bunch of supernaturally good looking people at their disposal.
On a different note, I'm kind of sorry for their senpai. You know, the president of their club? He was surrounded with fantastical creatures and was kept in the dark. Poor guy LOL
All that being said, let's go back to the shipping! Yes, I'm aware that it makes me annoying and "yaoi trash", but whatever, just hear me out! It's just me or Hayate kept making passes at Sou? I agree that getting closer to the other twin was the smartest strategy to make Sui cooperate, but it wasn't just that. At the beginning, sure: befriending, kidnapping and hurting him were all ways to break the seal. But then Hayate threatened to kiss him, asked Sou quite a few times if he made for an attractive female, offered to be a woman for him (!!!) and, instead of offering to bodyguard Sui, offered to shadow Sou 24/7, sleeping and bathing together included. Come on! You can't blame me for shipping them! Unfortunately it will never happen because incest ¬¬ (and the fact that this is shoujo, but that's irrelevant)
Conclusion: I hope we get a special chapter or a sequel, this was too good!

Hey, I'm not judging! Loving money doesn't make Marry a bad guy. If it were the case, he would have matched himself with Minami, not offered VIP service. I'm just saying that it's not exactly the best base for a healthy relationship. Although they do have time to get there by the looks of it.
This is lovely, but I got a few questions:
1. If the illegal reapers really don't give a damn about the rules, shouldn't Kuzunoha's parents be in danger too? They don't seem to dye their fur.
2. And by the way he introduces himself by his given name, I'm assuming that his family name is kind of a big deal. It is, after all a family of silver foxes. Shouldn't they use a fake one? Like they do in cases of witness protection?
3. Fur reaping means killing a beastling and then skinning them. Who the fuck would volunteer for that?!
4. Is there a monetary reward for those who volunteer themselves as prey for official fur reaping events? (Because that's the only explanation I can think of)
5. How does genetics even work in this world? Can beastlings of different factions reproduce? Not that it matters for our heroes, but anyway...
The only one I can possibly think up an answer to is the first one. I don't think it's that he got caught up with illegal pelting, i think it's that the rules about pelting a child had possibly not been set up yet? He looked pretty young. But, who knows! lol
Answer to number 3:
Perhaps the elderly or sickly, maybe some one very depressed will use the pelt reaping as a suicide attempt, young ones very stupid may enter on a dare. (These are only speculation)

Ok, on the flashback senpai looked thin, so I'm guessing that he was so insecure that he tried to change himself to please Akesato, but they broke up anyway. So he went berserk. And Akesato was traumatized for life. So he sticked to one-night-stands with hot, dark haired, tall guys and can't even hear the word love without panicking. And apparently he became a stalker-magnet. Poor Akesato! ┗( T﹏T )┛
