No sure where everyone is getting their slow burn but as of chapter 26 the ml has already started to think more about yumin than his ex, he's also considerably opened up to her.
As for the FL, it s true that she still needs closure but she's already starting to get over it
I just read chapter 52 and I definitely hate how the teacher dealt with that. I know the point is to teach Helmut to be «human», however he is not fit to be giving lecture as he is (partially) the reason the situation escalated to this point.
«you are deflecting the questions» so are you? A half-assed, one sentence apology won't make up for the fact that two vulnerable students (as they have no noble title/family to protect them) have suffered from an assassination attempt from one of the most dishonorable group comandited by another student under your responsibility whom you knew was hostile towards commoners.
It is true that Asuka usually react to every provocation with violence, but Helmut does not, they both held back and waited until the officials duels. What they did wasn't mindless primal violence or whatever the teacher's trying to pass this off, this was two 15 years olds with no power other than their raw strength, putting an end to the constant threat and harassment in the only way they could.
The teacher is asking them to trust the institution right after telling them that the academy knowingly did not do anything about their harassment.
Honestly I don't even know what to say? I really hope all that mommy bs is just stuff being mistranslated (I'm in denial) but even then beside the mom kink can we talk about lil bro actions?
I think we brushed over the fact he tried to put a photo of teacher wearing a raunchy cow underwear being humiliated as his official picture of the university website. This is insane, not having a mom doesn't justify being a horrible person, he had his big bro as a role model (he may be dumb but he's kind and responsible towards him).
I have trouble really analyzing his character because of the translation but he's really getting creepier. Exchanging his name with his classmate to play a prank on the teacher is funny. Running his teacher's carrier isn't
President Choi must be STRESSED my Lord.
Justice for his blood pressure
I didn't even know Ijin was still going to school tbh. We haven't seen him with his friends in like 50 chapters
does anyone knows about that manga (or manhwa but it's most likely manga), it's about a teacher, he actually looks like a middle aged man (I mean not like those super handsome manga teacher he actually looks like a person) and the manga is geared towards comedy as he always finds himself or his student in weird af situations. the students he helped were girls and there was no romance (I think the students had crush on him since he helped them but he never reciprocated bc he's no pedo).
there's a time skip and we see him older, he had to retire bc he became blind. he's severely depressed and refuses any help bc he doesn't wanna be a burden but he meets the students he helped again and they help him in return.
i don't remember if there was romance once adult tho

seriously these guy are just two college kid with no special background, how on earth does the author manage to make their relationship seem more fucked up than some of the other mafia/gangster/omegaverse I've read?
bottom (can't be bothered to remember his name) is just some guy with trust issue who's mildly masochist why did he suddenly become psycho?
ok what this reminds me of? mangaka who aren't allowed to finish their story the way they want it to because of their editors so the story goes to shit. I'm literally convinced the author wanted to end this wayyyy sooner (maybe the 30 chapters of angst and bitter sweet ending were put there bc of that) but he's not allowed to bc of his contract so he ruin his story on purpose since there's nothing else he wants to draw with these characters
like a lot of other readers I'm getting a bit bored of this. We know Ijin is super strong and we know he'll surprise everyone who underestimated him, we don't need to keep being proven that he's the strongest as that was something already established in the first chapter when he singlehandedly saved the lieutenant and several civilian from a hostage situation. we've seen that he's the strongest during the first arc (not counting the bully bc beating up entitled teenagers doesn't really count) where Yuna got kidnapped.
I want to see what was promised to us in the beginning, a young man who has known nothing but war, death and conflicts learn about love (not necessarily romantic) and normalcy, ofc not without hurdles but the author is giving us nothing but hurdles. I want to see Ijin get along with the other numbers, after they learned he didn't actually betray them and kill the rest of them I want to see their interaction, that chicken party would've been such a cute scene with everyone present.
and eventually I'd like for the numbers to be introduced to his bio family
I'll continue reading bc I'm invested but I'm really getting tired at how repetitive it is. this arc (woman who got drugged as a ploy from her company) is literally a copy and paste from the entertainment girl who was stalked: Ijin arrives isn't really taken seriously and is treated kind of like an intern (which he is technically but yk basic respect and all that), finds a problem and tries to solve it (girl bf or company sponsor who wants her ass) is stopped by the other bodyguards he beat them up, the woman finally believes in his ability and ask for his help, Ijin calls the chairman, he beat up some more ppl and everything is resolved. EVERY. SINGLE. ARC. HAS BEEN THAT SAME PATTERN
am I the only one who doesn't think he's appealing as an ml? I really enjoy his personality and the fact he never judged mc on her weight only her abilities, he's smart and their interaction as boss/employee/friends are really nice but he just, doesn't seem in love, just possessive.
he wants her but doesn't actually tries to win her over he simply push his feelings onto her and tell her that she'll end up loving him anyway then immediately start the consort competition. it just seem idk out of character from how he was in the beginning? he was always arrogant but he would still be mindful of his position as a prince bc let's not forget that he's her boss (and a prince who knows Tara is wary of him bc he could destroy her family).
I'm honestly a bit annoyed, we've had to deal with what? the dragon's amnesia, 25 chapters of flashbacks and now amnesia again? I love them I do and the smut scene are great but seriously we'll have to deal with the same thing we did in the beginning when the dragon had amnesia all over again
I wanted to see Ijin with the numbers :( we've seen him protect people and be SO MUCH better than everyone else a thousand time. it's still fun of course but I'm more interested in his interaction with his (second) family
I really hate Chunwoo. and I hate the author more for trying to pass whatever this shit is as cute. it's disgusting, "you don't trust me
hi I'm searching for a bl I've read like a year ago, and the story goes like this:
mc plays a game and often meet with the members of his guild (I don't think there's a lot of members) but one of the member never comes so mc who is quite close to him (in game) ask him why. ml says he looks really scary and ppl often mistake him as being part of a gang so he doesn't want to make the others members uncomfortable. mc invite him for lunch so they'll meet alone and next time there'll be a guild meeting he'll be able to help him if there's any awkwardness with the others. they meet and mc is scared at first but they get closer. I hope it rings a bell for one of you
the way everyone was shitting on Yamadera-kun a few days ago saying they didn't care about him and now y'all are shedding tears for him.
I think he's a great addition to the story bc as we've seen in the first chapter, sayo would have never become comfortable with himself and would never have evolved as a vampire nor met his vamp friends. Basically without Yamadera-kun he would've still be stuck in fear and loneliness
is the author delusional? do they really think having sex with an angry man is the same as having sex with a consenting Dom ? well, news flash: it's not. I hate that the author ruined all their characters for stupid drama. Chunwoo has always been a coward and a bit of an ass but he has been slowly getting better throughout the story.
I hope the author's phone can only be charged at a weird angle
might get hate for this but am I the only one who thinks there nearly isn't as much effort put into this manhwa as there was for the previous seasons? I can't believe Raon revenge arc was done in 2 chapters, it was an amazing milestone for him and also revealed some things about Kim Rok Soo's personality. Same thing for the jungle arc it was at least fifteen chapters in the novel yet it wasn't even half here, and a lot of important information we'll need in the future were just glossed over (mainly the mana stones he found).
Disclaimer: I know that a manhwa cannot be as detailed as a novel, it is obvious and it is not what I am asking of the manhwa, it's just so weirdly fast paced even tho the first and second season's pacing was perfect I couldn't find fault in it at all.
I'm actually so mad at this situation what was Chunwoo thinking?!
small recap of the situation for those who are confused:
basically Chunwoo wanted to have rough sex with Ho-in but he wasn't sure if he would accept because he's always gentle and always treat him like he's the most precious thing in the world. so, against Woojin advice (ch.105) without even asking him, he decided that the best idea was to neglect him by spending all his time with Woojin (Ho-in's bff) to make him jealous in order to make him explode and finally have rough sex with him.
this absolutely trash idea is flawed in many way,
firstly ho-in is very insecure about their relationship because he started off as just a sex toy for Chunwoo who was in love with another man. Even after months of suffering and chasing, it took weeks after they started dating for Chunwoo to say that he loves Ho-in and has finally let go of his feelings for the other guy.
Secondly, having sex with an angry man isn't the same as having consenting kinky sex with your loved one, indeed! in the first situation it would be a violent act only used to vent frustration and assert dominance while for the latter it would be partners indulging in each other's fantasy knowing that they can stop at any moment.
Thirdly, making your bf jealous on purpose is a massive dick move. it's disrespectful, it's disgusting and generally a bad solution for a relationship problem
this such a useless piece of drama. Chunwoo didn't even ask ho-in if he would be down to do it roughly, also does he really think ho-in or even him would enjoy having sex with an angry man/while angry? I'm literally do sad bc Woojin is my favorite character and he was always a great support and now the author ruin him for what? some badly written angst, an overdone "comic" situation and some very lame useless drama that doesn't add anything to the story
