might get hate for this but am I the only one who thinks there nearly isn't as much effort put into this manhwa as there was for the previous seasons? I can't believe Raon revenge arc was done in 2 chapters, it was an amazing milestone for him and also revealed some things about Kim Rok Soo's personality. Same thing for the jungle arc it was at least fifteen chapters in the novel yet it wasn't even half here, and a lot of important information we'll need in the future were just glossed over (mainly the mana stones he found).
Disclaimer: I know that a manhwa cannot be as detailed as a novel, it is obvious and it is not what I am asking of the manhwa, it's just so weirdly fast paced even tho the first and second season's pacing was perfect I couldn't find fault in it at all.

small recap of the situation for those who are confused:
basically Chunwoo wanted to have rough sex with Ho-in but he wasn't sure if he would accept because he's always gentle and always treat him like he's the most precious thing in the world. so, against Woojin advice (ch.105) without even asking him, he decided that the best idea was to neglect him by spending all his time with Woojin (Ho-in's bff) to make him jealous in order to make him explode and finally have rough sex with him.
this absolutely trash idea is flawed in many way,
firstly ho-in is very insecure about their relationship because he started off as just a sex toy for Chunwoo who was in love with another man. Even after months of suffering and chasing, it took weeks after they started dating for Chunwoo to say that he loves Ho-in and has finally let go of his feelings for the other guy.
Secondly, having sex with an angry man isn't the same as having consenting kinky sex with your loved one, indeed! in the first situation it would be a violent act only used to vent frustration and assert dominance while for the latter it would be partners indulging in each other's fantasy knowing that they can stop at any moment.
Thirdly, making your bf jealous on purpose is a massive dick move. it's disrespectful, it's disgusting and generally a bad solution for a relationship problem
this such a useless piece of drama. Chunwoo didn't even ask ho-in if he would be down to do it roughly, also does he really think ho-in or even him would enjoy having sex with an angry man/while angry? I'm literally do sad bc Woojin is my favorite character and he was always a great support and now the author ruin him for what? some badly written angst, an overdone "comic" situation and some very lame useless drama that doesn't add anything to the story
That's what infuriates me too. And now that it's explained how accomplished and polished Ho-In is, it's like he wants to make him jealous and possessive to feel superior.

I'm sorry everyone but when I read it my first thought is that the author learned about sex by reading smut without having any IRL experience every dialogue is so cliché and doesn't go with the character's personality (she's a fox and she already had five tails before doing it with him, she's definitely very experienced yet she acted like she never had sex before but maybe goblin guy acquired groundbreaking cumming techniques during his long life confined on an isolated mountain).
Also, can we talk about how fast he fell in love? I understand for Yeon (fox girl) bc she's young and hasn't experienced anything deeper emotionally than sex but him? he literally watched her cry and badum badum when watching hot women cry is a hobby of his??? there is no explanation as to why she's different

Actually, in the Korean releases, the author has already concluded the 2nd season. I don't understand the reason behind this hiatus honestly
and the conclusion of season 2 is just chapter 77. the author was defo not well, they took frequent hiatus even with the korean release too. chapter 76 was released in oct 22 and chapter 77 was released in nov 13, the eng translation just follow the pattern of the Korean original

the story is pretty cliché although that's what make it fun to read, the translation is so bad tho. you wouldn't know how long it took me to understand that Stern was her homeland I'm able to understand the story bc I'm used to shitty manhua translation but this is on another level. this isn't just machine translated this is a vile act of malice from whoever put their filthy grubby hands on that poor manhwa undeserving of such treatment

I hate that the author ruined all their characters for stupid drama. Chunwoo has always been a coward and a bit of an ass but he has been slowly getting better throughout the story.

I meant before that whole dumb drama. he realized that the way he was living before wasn't right and got the strength to change, he got over his "ex" and finally decided to treat Ho-in right. hence why I'm so disappointed because the author made us believe he would be good to ho-in
