A short summary of the prev few chapters from my understanding:


FL from risk management came to this site to investigate the fallen worker named Mansoo. Her main job for the company is to investigate and make this case deemed not as a safety accident and hence not company’s fault and no compensation to the fallen worker. This will help save company major money and that essentially is FL job and why they sent her here to supervise and overlook the site.

ML works at large debtor collection company that is tryna whitewash themselves into the financial market despite the gangster like founding and background. ML may have been the one who founded this company with his father’s inheritance after the traitor’s leader died and the rampant hunt of him and ML’s uncle ended. ML came undercovered at this construction site to also investigate Mansoo (a debtor to his company) because since mansoo(who is on the right track of almost finished paying off his loan) is out of work due to injury, his deadline of returning the loaned money will soon approach and failure to return it completely will result in 10x the principal and interest. When it 10x ML thinks Mansoo might be unable to take it anymore and choose to give up, which is something ML doesn’t want to see that happened. On top of that ML also found out Mansoo was pushed by someone instead of falling from safety issue. If this is revealed to risk management because they’re behind the construction, then the case will be declared not company liability and hence no compensation to fallen worker Mansoo. Hence Mansoo and his wife were hush hush about it on top of not knowing who pushed him. ML wants this to be a safety accident so Mansoo can get the liability compensation for Mansoo to 1. pay off his debt 2. ML company will not lose money for loaning and 3.Manson will hopefully not end his life from 10x principal and interest.

In addition the ML have also found that 4 people have fallen around the site in the last 2 months and all of them have bad credit with insane debt. And because they fallen under the prefix of safety accident they all received compensation and successfully paid off their debt. Hence ML ask his underling Park to investigate who the creditor of all four of them. He’s worried it might have been desperate bottom level employee behind these incident to meet their own quotas of debt collection.

The rating went form 9.2 to 9.5!!! YAYYY this character depth and development def deserves this much!!!
