I don't think the Painter will ever fall in love with Yoon. I think he will develop the kind of attachment a captive might have for his captor after a lot of conditioning. Yoon will go with "Love me or the teacher gets it." The Painter will likely go with "I love you" even though he clearly loathes Yoon.

It did mention earlier in the series that Seungho went through something that caused him to be the way he currently is so I feel like later it'll be addressed especially with the way curly hair guy is with Suengho. I think Seungho has already got some interest in Nakyum as he does show somewhat some remorse when he is mean to him and unconsciously gets jealous.
I don't really like the love interest saving the abuser from a dark place after being abused trope some stories have but if it goes that route I hope the author does it well and doesn't make it seem ridiculous. I kinda hope it stays dark tho Yoons aint shit after the newest chapter Redemption doesn't even seem like an option at this point
I don't see him getting an attachment to Yoon if it does go that route since Nakyum doesn't show any interest in him at all. Usually the victim feels connected or in debt (? Lol I don't know what other way to put it) to the person who has them captive somehow

SH flew into a rage after NY rejected him, scratched his face and said that those words he said that night (after he recall) was directed at his learned sir and not to him. Maybe that is why he slammed NY face to the floor and raped him after NY hurt his ego, since he has never been rejected by anyone before, and now, he got rejected by a mere painter. With his nasty temper, so it is understandable that he act the way he did, even though it is not ok. SH did still care about NY even though he was being cruel. He did afterall, send his servant to take care of NY.
SH did not enjoy raping NY which was shown on his face after he returned. He looked very annoyed.
In my opinion, I think SH definitely have feeling towards NY but he hasn't yet realise it. Else, he wouldn't have slept with NY not like he is lack of any partner. Nonetheless, it is degrading for a noble to sleep with a peasant.
I hope things will turn around between SH & NY as the story progress. Even though, I have a feeling the story might not have a happy ending.
Now, I cannot wait to read ch 26...

I don't know if you guys notice in ch 24, when NY did the painting he was in his room (my guessing), later on, he brought the finished painting to show it to SH and got pushed down by SH (probably will reveal later in ch 25). As per mentioned, in my earlier post, SH pushed NY down in attempt to make him remember that night, as that is not the painting SH hope to see.
The story begins with NY origin is not known. As the story progress, NY might end up actually be a son of a noble. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
