Sorry if you don't agree with me, but for some reason i want the snake give xiaobei the temporary mark. I want bailang know how xiaobei felt when he marked another dude while he was beaten up to death. It doesn't matter who is the culprit because bailang didn't put his effort to save xiaobei from being sold. He was too afraid of his dad. When he made a promise to protect xiaobei, but break his promise then, i lost my trust..... It's sad but xiaobei MUST leave both of them. He shouldn't end up with neither. They are brothers after all.

For the pink-haired, tbh i don't hate him. He has mental disorder as author said in her highlights. He's an illegitimate child. We don't know about his backstory yet. He doesn't seems interested in anyone but he met the snake at the graveyard so i guess maybe his lover are dead?? He clearly has no emotion shown.
The only happiness for xiaobei is to leave him alone. He's so sweet and kind guy, it such a waste to make him end up with those psychos. He doesn't have any romance towards anyone. So please let him go safe and sound to his house. Though he used to be poor, he must be missing his freedom so much and really want to go home.

Well for all we know the Wolf could've been forced to mark pink slut by his toxic father, the Wolf's father is obsessed with power, status, and the throne. He also keeps reminding the wolf that the perfect heir is capable of being born from a fated mate, who in this case has a mental disorder I don't know how anyone expects a perfect heir when the other partner has a mental disorder
The toxic father likely brainwashed the Wolf into the same toxic thinking he has when it comes to how to treat Humans that is the most logical answer I can give to why the Wolf treated the Uke so badly in the beginning, this same brainwashing prevented him from trying any further to save the Uke because the brainwashing made him powerless against his toxic father and the toxic elders at least from what I saw.
Even so we can expect the Uke although nothing's set in stone yet to end up with the Wolf seme, especially considering these reasons:
1: both are the main characters, after the Uke the Wolf has the most screen time, and the most character development
2: the Wolf begins to actually care and fall in love with the Uke, he also no longer wanted to push him nor take advantage of him but try to respect him instead, he also wanted to comfort the Uke and offered to hold him when the Uke was almost raped
3: he is questioning what he is really wants as of chapter 39
4: most artworks of the Manga depict them together or them standing the closest to each other even in the cover page the Uke's body is facing the Wolf and is he is closer toward him
5: the Snake and pink hair are the antagonists, with the Snake being both a primary antagonist and a secondary character
6: the Wolf when he smelled pink hair's pheromones sees only the Uke and at the auction he again sees the Uke when the pink hair offers him cake
7: the Snake doesn't care one bit about the Uke nor does he love him, although he is obsessed with the Uke in the Snake's eyes the Uke is nothing more than a tool/pet/toy/belonging and now that he has bought the Uke this thinking has gotten worse probably
8: the author confirmed that the Wolf will grow up soon
9: in the latest author's note it is revealed that the Wolf is secretly preparing/planning to rescue the Uke while the Snake's dreams would soon be shattered/broken
10: everything the Uke has gone through is the fault of both the Snake and pink hair don't forget that they modified his genes before he even meets the Wolf seme
11: the Snake has done a lot worse things to the Uke than the Wolf including paying 3 guys to beat the Uke up, drugging him, having the Uke nearly raped while he stood outside doing nothing to stop it, indirectly caused the Uke both to be killed and to be sold to begin with since it was originally pink hair that was going to be merchandise and it was pink hair's idea to become merchandise a plan that the Snake agreed with
12: the manga's second title Love, which makes one can be considered an indicator that love is going to conquer fate
But despite these reasons nothing is yet confirmed of what is going to happen to the Uke the only we do know for certain is that he is getting stronger.
I do agree with you its best for now that he goes back to his peaceful life, but as long as he is in the coils of the Snake that won't be happening the Snake is obsessed with the Uke and he has no plans of letting him go unless either the Uke is forcefully taken away or escapes, or if the Uke kills the Snake, furthermore the Uke is awakening as his true self that's why he can never fully return to his normal life ever again sadly.
