I agree lariette was a little inconsiderate to start a relationship with the (false) knowledge that she's going to die but buddy.. that is the whole story... Like that's the premise, the point and the plot. Did you read the description? That's the tragedy of the situation, and Lariette herself realises it later. There are chapters dedicated to her guilt and regret since she had no idea that he would fall in love after 3 months, because most people.. don't.
And she didn't "make" him fall in love. She asked him to date her for 3 months but he thought she was making fun of him. So she suggested that he employ her and give her food and board in exchange for healing him. Then asked him to reconsider her offer for dating if he trusts her based on her work, which he agreed even though he didn't think he would actually reconsider dating her.
When Lariette thinks Asrahan isn't into her cause he keeps ignoring her SHE TELLS HIM to forget about reconsidering and that it's OK since she will keep healing him as his employee anyways. Asrahan is the one who decides he doesn't want that and wants to pursue the contract relationship. Which by the way, from that point he already has his mind set on never letting her go. From that it should be very clear there wasn't forced relationship..
Also, Im not sure you know what a martyr is, or why you even brought that up, but thinking about it she really is one. She really "died" for the cause by **SPOILERS** stabbing herself so they wouldn't cut off Asrahans arm. That is textbook definition of a martyr.
All in all, it's so strange to pick up a contract relationship webtoon, then be like "ew contract relationship

Can you Imagine yourself as the ML, NO ONE ever comes close to you because you smell of corpses but on a random Tuesday, a beautiful young noble girl tells you that you are perfect the way you are and she can heal you.
You are fine with that and even though you start to have feelings for her, you do not initiate the issue, in fact, you actively run from it no matter what your Butler and the Fl were saying.. It was until she " FORCEFULLY" seduced you that you gave in, even then you wanted to take things slowly but she refused and initaied intimacy...
Now, flash forward, you are in love like a fool while Fl (who believes she will die) wants to ghost you when you go to war so she a can go die in a corner without anyone finding out..
