...The only logical reason I could come up with about those who applauded when they reconciled is that you do not see her as a "real" person. I know she is a character, but it's beyond my point....
I want you to tell us with your hands on your chest that if Annette was your Younger sister, cousin, BEST FRIEND, or neighbour and you were well aware of what Heiner put her through, you would support their tearful reconciliation...
You might say yes, but that just means you are emotionally removed from they friendship to begin with. no sensible person will support them coming back together..
They could be a little friendly with each other if they ever met, but sincerely, you would not want them together anymore...
Even the Author knew what she was doing. She NEVER LET Annette completely disappear from Heiner's grip; she was ALWAYS at his reach WHEREVER she went ...so of course they have guilted / gaslitted her into thinking she bears any fault whats so ever...
If Annette is guilty of anything, is that she was unaware of the plight of her countrymen (because she was HIGHLY sheltered). That is her crime. SHE DID NOTHING WRONG TO HEINER...
He can cry me a river, but it does not dispute the abuse he rained on her for 3 years and gloated over...
Y'all will really forgive anything....
Literally made her suffer so much like she committed a horrible crime or something when she was simply ignorant cause she was extremely sheltered like what the fuck even what decent person would ever do that he's literally just a piece of trash his past does not give him the right to make her suffer if this was another manhwa he would literally be the villain guy who's made the heroine suffer and gets killed in the end it's crazy how people are actually supporting them being together????? we're just forgetting she almost krilled herself twice???
please y'all is there any manga like DEAR BENJAMIN
http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/dear_benjamin/
At least with the same quality and how they handle ABO universe there.
...Some comments here piss me TF off...
Why MUST HEINER HAVE ANNETTE..???
MF was obsessed, put her on a pedestal and was then angry with her for staying on the pedestal...
I am truly sad about his past situation, BUT I am still trying to calculate how that affects Annette.
All I heard with his story was that, "your dad and the noble family hurt me, so I PICK YOU ONLY to pay that price.: I wont tell you what you did exactly but I will make sure you hate yourself enough to try self elimination twice".....
That's exactly what he was heading to...
NOW, for the Grande Finale..
Heiner;- Look at my chest wound and use the already built-up guilt to bind yourself to me again.
See, I am all for forgiveness, but this type of relationship is BS...
Ok then, where would she go back to?? The capital where even though she was the "wife" of the commander, no one respected her cause they knew Heiner wanted it that way???
Will she pretend to be civil with all those officers that openly ridiculed her, or will they be forced to give an insincere apology cause Heiner wants them to???
Or will the capital folks suddenly forget she's the child of their tyrant, and for 3 years after the revolution, she was the media punching bag...
These people MOCKED her when she had a miscarriage and said she wanted "attention" when she tried to self eliminate TWICE.. cause Heiner did not protect her image at all
I mean, think about it, is it so bad if she lives in a small village and be happy there with new friends... she can be their nurse... WHY MUST SHE EAT HER VOMIT after some tears...
I don't know whether I liked this or accidentally disliked but I do agree with your comment!! The story is beautifully written and I love most aspects of it but I cannot envision romance between the two leads considering one was so severely horrible to his wife so much that it tried to kill her twice during their marriage. I suppose the writer wanted to write a complex romance redemption but realistically.. this relationship would remain unhealthy because their past would torment them even if they both change. There will always be that small part of them scared: she will be scared he will torment her like that again and he is scared that she will try to end it because of him again. Story would've been okay with her forgiving him and moving on rather than them having to get back together.
Those are exactly my sentiments. They can never be on an even playing field. He went too far.
