I don't know if I'd say annoying... the story suddenly feeling a little flat... I'm trying to look at it in the perspective of like, say you meet your celebratory crush? That may explain her reactions, but I feel I see what you mean as well.
I totally agree. She cries at the drop of a hat and is soooo weak-willed.

Can you please leave if you don't like the series? It's annoying to read the same negative comments after each chapter. You may not like the series. But let others enjoy it.

I'm sorry if I offended you somehow I wasn't trying to. And it's not that I don't like the series, I am honestly intrigued by it to the point I'm really excited for updates. For it's such a refreshing concept. But maybe I think it's just the beginning or maybe the story follows a slow burn but I would be really glad to find some more in depth character development and due to that, I find it as of now with how the fl acts out is quite annoying? Tbh I'm not really sure but what I'm feeling for her is somewhere along those lines.
The thing is that from the start she seemed like a very sensitive and empathetic introvert character.
She was pulled in this because her heart ached for him. Now she is in his world, and for a brief period of time, felt she could help him, to in the end fall from high, when the only way to help him she felt she had was but a bitter dellusion in the end.
Now she doesn't want to give up but she's very unsure of how to help him! And she has to take into account the fact that he has murderous antecedents, a very twisted personnality, and she's the daugther of one of the triggers to his misfortunes.
I think her tears are expression of her frustration, fear for her life/and others, as well as the pain for everthing she knows of him(and how useless she feels this knowledge proves to be)...
That is how I see it. This story actually feels like a rather fast-paced one to me, but it does feel like the pace is getting stuck. But if she suddenly became one of those high energy bull-focused FL I wouldn't know what to do of her.
However I do feel like it could be getting flat if things don't move. I'm intrigued too (to use your phrasing).
Yeah, maybe that was something I'm looking for in explaining what I think of this series. Things seemed to be getting flat? I really don't know but I do agree with others saying it's getting to the point where I'm feeling it's stuck. Though I'd like to see this series through the end to see how it will end.
