Huh? There is no reason at all to fire him!?! Seriously he did nothing wrong! I thought she's laugh and say "what's the big fuss about!? Accidents happen, it's this guys fault not yours." Ridiculous!!
![](/images/home/manga-img-anonymous-30.png)
Why did they have to reveal he was yakuza in the first place?! Yuuma just got a burn on his arm when helping out Sou's friend. D;;; it was completely unrelated to Yakuza!

Personally, I think the mother grossly over-reacted. I'm the mother of 3 sons that I gave birth to, and an adopted son and daughter. I would never presume to stand between my children and happiness. So, NO, as a mother, I DO NOT sympathize. "Mom" doesn't know her son is dating her assistant -- if she did, she would be even worse in my book. Then, she would also be standing in the way of her child's happiness... shame on ANY parent that does that. I would never dismiss a person based on their past or their affiliation with anyone. I am me, you are you and they are them...one has nothing to do with the others.
I was raised in a "family" somewhat similar to the yakuza -- I have never experienced a moment of fear caused by my "family". I have, however, experienced plenty of it caused by people who jumped to judgement out of ignorance.
![](/images/home/manga-img-anonymous-30.png)
It was a yakuza burn!!
![](https://pic1.mangapicgallery.com/r/avatar/0d/u69252_50x50.jpg?2)
I'm sorry, I never meant to imply that you were passing judgement, only that the mother was.
I don't think think my "sympathy" has as much to do with being "close" to a situation or group of people, rather I think it has more to do with having experienced a lot of things from many different "sides". I may not hold sympathy for everyone, but I do try to understand them. I also do not see why a "regular" mother is more entitled to base her concerns on her ignorance of a lifestyle or persons background than an "irregular" mother. That is like saying it's okay for a mother to be "concerned" (read prejudiced against) for her son being gay because she ignorantly believes that you can "pray the gay away". Prejudice (disguised as concern) is always a product of ignorance and is by no means pure. If a person's "concern" or opinion is based in ignorance, it doesn't matter if they are a parent or not, ignorance is ignorance and prejudice is prejudice. Being a parent does not automatically make one's motivations pure.
(In regards to prejudice... If one does not have the information required to form an opinion, the opinion should be withheld.)
You mention "leave the lifestyle" ...please tell me you were referring to the yakuza and not homosexuality. You seem too intelligent to believe that homosexuality is a choice or a lifestyle you can simply "leave". Assuming you meant the yakuza, the assistant had already left that lifestyle and the "family" with which he was involved was disbanded. Thus, giving the mother no reason to disapprove, according to your statement.
Personally, I like your elopement idea better.

I think this is a splendid opportunity for kid to grow up and find his own place in the world. Mom's doing him a favour, telling him to move out like that and not spend his entire life doting on her and her cronies. It isn't like he needs to change their diapers. They need him more than ... blah-blah-blah. Besides, he's got an artist boyfriend to support from now on. Time to shed the superfluous hangers-on.
![](/images/home/manga-img-anonymous-30.png)
Hum... sorry to burst your bubble but the person she said to leave the house wasn't her own kid... but Sou.
She wants the helper to leave, not her own kid.
![](https://pic1.mangapicgallery.com/r/avatar/48/u12961_50x50.jpg?2)
Yeah, yeah ... I know, okay? Not everybody sees these things so on the surface, and Fuwa Shinri does tend to explore relationship angles, even in comic manga like this one. If mother tells yakuza-boy to get out, she's telling her kid to grow up and make a decision. That's how it goes.
Or are we still back in the place where we're pretending nobody at the party noticed they were both gone at the same time? And mama, who seems to have more on the ball than most yaoi older relatives, still hasn't figured them out.

I agree with the prev. comments. Great chapter. Quite a few interesting situations and information (like...SPOILER... V. being alive is the most interesting one of course. Though I think he is not alive, but a Shinigami - like he thought his wife and son are dead and willingly decided to die in the fire too). Oh and the reaction of the undertaker, when Diederich said that it's good X is dead. He didn't smirk not even smiled a bit, but actually cried! He cried!!! Oh yesyes interesting interesing :D

Somehow it make me wonder do you think it really exist in the reality this kind of evil noble
![](https://pic1.mangapicgallery.com/r/avatar/30/u60490_50x50.jpg?2)
Well I'm not married, not even in love - never was - and I also don't have a kid, but I think when you see everything you loved and cherished burning to its ground including your beloved wife and your only little son, knowing that even with all the power you had you were not able to protect them... you might decide to join them, since why would I deserve to live. Do I actually want to live. And it's not that he had much time to think, it would have been a tremendously emotional moment, where everyone would simply wish to die too.

It seems kinda like the name of a group. That's how the lunatic and pedophile from de Circus arc called Vincent (who punished the people form London's dark side when they went out of their way and involved innocent persons, in the Queen's name) and his... Mmm... Companions? Allies? The ones who worked along with him like know Lau, Tanaka and the Phantomhive household (Bard, Meiryn and Finny) do know with Ciel.
So yeah, they exist, it has been stated the job of Queen's watchdog for the Phantomhives, their... Helpers (?) receive the appellative of "evil noble" :)
![](/images/home/manga-img-anonymous-30.png)
maybe he thought he was gonna die anyway in the fire so there was no other choice but to suicide before he dies from the fire so he can somewhat be able to stay
![](https://pic1.mangapicgallery.com/r/avatar/30/u60490_50x50.jpg?2)
Do we actually know that much about Vincent to say that? I mean seriously! Cause my picture of him is ike yours. I'd also say "it would be out of character", but then I thought that I actually don't know much about him at all. The Vincent in the first anime for example didn't seemed like the one I pictured (ok in fairness it wasn't reaaally him, but still...). How much do we know!? He seems fierce and strong. He seems like you know why Ciel is how he is. But I remember one moment, when little Ciel said somthing about "he doesn't need friends like that" and he acted surprised and a bit worried maybe.

Plus, does anyone have an idea what's bothering Usagi?
![](https://pic1.mangapicgallery.com/r/avatar/30/u60490_50x50.jpg?2)
ah yes that might be it. Since Misaki actually said at one point he is going to tell his brother...but has not until now. Hmm I wonder how Takahiro will react. He certainly will be surprised, who wouldn't since Usagi is his childhood friend, and he never saw that coming (in fairness he is a bit blind to his surroundings). But then again, he is a nice guy, he will accept it sooner or only a bit later :)
![](https://pic1.mangapicgallery.com/r/avatar/da/u40225_50x50.jpg?2)
Yes, I think Takahiro will accept it too because he really loves his brother and he wants him to be happy so...
And he also likes Usagi. He knows that he is a good guy.
Maybe, it'll be Misaki who will be more surprised by his brother's reaction than Takahiro's surprise by Misaki's relationship with Usagi (even if, indeed, Takahiro will be amazed by that... Now that I think about it, I wonder what Takahiro's wife thinks about Usagi and Misaki's relationship; if she's as blind as her husband or not).
![](/images/home/manga-img-anonymous-30.png)
I think that he feels guilty that Misaki has to go through the trouble of proving himself to others just to be with him.
![](/images/home/manga-img-anonymous-30.png)
i dont think its bout his brother...in MY OPINION!!..Asami is thinking that Misaki has grow up too much (mentally) that maybe he feeling insecure that maybe Misaki might leave him someday..or something like that ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍
![](/images/home/manga-img-anonymous-30.png)
I think Misaki's brother will accept it. He loves Misaki no matter what. I think the hard part has always been Misaki is afraid of being rejected by his brother and the world. He's finally coming to term with his "straight boy turn gay by Usagi" love so NOW- he does not care what they / world thinks about his relationship with Aki-Chan. He's cmoing around....this is the real world Sensei is portraying after all. Not your typical yaoi happy ever after ending!!!!
![](https://pic1.mangapicgallery.com/r/avatar/da/u40225_50x50.jpg?2)
Yes, I agree. Misaki has still a lot of thinking (and soul searching) to do to be truly at ease in his relationship with Usagi. The most part is accepting the death of his parents as an event in which he was not involved.
His belief of being the cause of their death is what prevents him from truly accept his relationship with Usagi (like to be able to say "I love you" to him more easily, or the embarrassment he always feels when they're making love).
Even if Misaki is Japanese and, due to his culture and education, is more shy to confess his feelings at loud and regularly, the fact that he always doesn't want to bother anyone is an obstacle in this relationship as he's always refraining himself.
Actually, I think Misaki is someone who is really tormented, but has great mental strength. I'd like him to be free of his turmoil. He and Usagi would be happier.
![](/images/home/manga-img-anonymous-30.png)
I totally agree with you. He has so many bad left over habits from his parents death. Things hes burried and left unresolved. Weve seen it, when usagi puts misaki first, he tends to get upset and see himself as troublesome. And hes always worried hell trouble others. And i think he doesnt like saying i love you and expressing himself much is partially cause he subconciously feels guilty for being happy. I think its all rooted to his parents death.
![](https://pic1.mangapicgallery.com/r/avatar/da/u40225_50x50.jpg?2)
I think the same thing. And his inability to say "I love you" is maybe also a consequence of the fear to lose someone he loves. He loved his parents, he lost them. He also loves his brother but Takahiro was already present and loved by Misaki. But he met Usagi after his parents death and, maybe, for his self-protection, he didn't want to love someone else.
He never had a girlfriend before. We also never saw a friend from previous meetings at school or somewhere else. His sempai (Sumi), met at his university, was just a guy with whom he spoke (but Sumi is not a rellay good example as he tried to steal Usagi from Misaki). But we can see that Misaki is more friendly with Toudou than with Sumi (but, again, not a good example because they're two fans of The Kan). But still, I think Misaki is more opened than before towards people.
But it's a pity that Takahiro never spoke about their parents death with Misaki. When Takahiro mentionned to Usagi that Misaki was feeling guilty, he said that Misaki never talked about that because he knew Takahiro would say that it was not his fault. But why did Misaki have to talk first about that subject and not Takahiro? Why do everyone avoid this topic? Misaki cannot heal if there's not communication. I'd like to see that talk.

What does he mean? What is Misaki suppose to do?

The father is certainly waiting for Misaki to state clearly that he wants to stay with Usagi no matter what. That he doesn't care if he loses his job and everything he has if he can stay with Usagi.
Usagi's father surely wants to know how much Misaki loves Usagi actually, and if he can have confidence in him not to make suffer his son due to uncertainty about his feelings or naivety/ignorance (because it's a gay relationship and can be not accepted by everyone, especially by people Misaki loves such as his brother).
![](/images/home/manga-img-anonymous-30.png)
Yeah my thought exactly(づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
![](/images/home/manga-img-anonymous-30.png)
yep.....yep......now it's Aki- Chan's turn to accept it LMAO!!!!
I hate seeing both of them suffering so much!! And I hate it even more that they are separated :( :( :( I can't stand it! They love each other so so much. Get back together NOW!!
