Am I the only on, who read chapter 8 and abandoned all hope to like Caste Heaven for good? Actually I honestly dislike it now!

Is "Ouji to Senichiya" the same manga or a sequel? I don't find any material to that particular title online to check, but it is listed alongside "Senya Ichiya Romanesque", so I hoped for a sequel :p
I didn't understand why Maya was listening to that guy in the first place. I mean he is lucky to be able to "read" him and to realize that he is someone who can easily manipulate people, so why not just say "ok, have a nice life, farewell!"?
I was wondering that too, perhaps is because of the help the guy offered him, as soon as he said he wish he could teach maya, maya accepted to help him, idk let's see what happens in next update.
