I want to hate Sangwoo and I *do* really hate him.
But there is a small, very, very tiny part of me that can't help but like him a little bit and feel bad for him.
same.. it's really fucked up. like.. there's no excuse of all the he has done but.. i really really feel sad for him too..
Because you are a normal functioning human, and we see that Sangwoo has had a very hard life. With other serial killers in reality, we generally just hear about their victims and manner of death, not how bad their lives may’ve been, but with Sangwoo, we have a front row view of his childhood pain.
Nah you're fine. It's called pity and that's pretty normal of a reaction. Dude's life has been messed up and his mind was completely screwed over by his mother so it's not hard to feel some sympathy for a guy reduced to a sobbing mess from the guilt I'm sure he's feeling.
Besides, as a reader I enjoy Sangwoo as a character and I hope he gets away with his crimes, but as a person, he's irredeemable and needs to go to a mental facility.
