I hate the dad now. From what I can interpret the dad sends the fl away and our couple breaks up. She has short hair now. The ml seems upset at times but is loving his life and they don’t really seem to get back together till chapter 51 (physically) but they don’t seem happy in a relationship till ch mid 50s.
Also sit looks like the fl knows how here the ml lives and cooks him food which the ml seems to panic when he sees it and throws it all away. Which the fl sees later and they argue on the phone ? (This is all before chapter 51). So I’m a bit confused there

FL later diagnosed with cancer, ML decided to quit school to take good care of her, leading to his dad blamed it all on FL. The dad suggested she fake her surgery to save ML’s future. He (dad) tricked ML with help from a doctor and announced the surgery was failed (it succeeded). Dad then sent FL abroad while ML dealt with the thought that his lover was dead. Several years later FL came back and started to look for a job. One of her neighbor (or friend) introduced a part time job as a house keeper, to which she agreed without knowing it was at ML’s apartment. They never met in person, just she came and prepared the food and he only came back home late at night. ML started to freak out since the “new house keeper” kept making familiar food. He threw them all out and FL saw her food in the trash can the next day. She got angry at her “employer” and called him. They argued a bit and she realized it later that it was him all along. She still kept her promised with his dad to not showed up in front of him but could not resist her feelings. He eventually found out she was still alive and got dejected that she lied and sided with his dad. And of course they fought and made up after that. ML confronted his father and said he would never forgive him. ML’s mom also found out the truth and decided to get divorced.
And there was a red flag with ML which made me shiver. He was cold to FL after they got back together so she wondered if it was really over and he could be okay without her now. Then one day FL suddenly found a travel bag at ML’s apartment filled with winter clothes and her pictures, and a knife. She realized it was almost her birthday and he remembered it was her wish to die on a snowy mountain, so he wanted to end his life like that. This incident was what made FL determine to win his trust back since she knew he was about to break apart
My first thought when reading this is, yeah I honestly understand why the ml is mad at fl. I mean who wouldn’t be after you just found out your lover faked their death ? (Even tho it is all dad fault)
Also that’s so sad!!! My dude was ready to end himself Romeo style for the fl So I honestly do understand why he’s mad. but at the same time you would also think he’s be overjoyed that she alive (although id still be mad)
It’s all about revenge I’m telling you! He appeared to be very normal after her “death”, stopped mourninpg over her after awhile, then graduated from school and began to work like a normal person. His mom thought he was able to let it go and started to introduce him to girls. Everyone assumed he already moved on to a new life. Under that disguise, he was actually preparing to join her afterward on her very birthday. That made me shirvering all over. If she came back a little bit later, it would be juliet and romeo real thing
