i actually read the novel for this one. its great, 10/10, no notes. im excited to see it drawn out. theres 10 extra chapters at the end of the main story too which was soooo delightful.

ngl if i were hyundoo, even if i had remembered our anniversary i may not have assumed we were celebrating the night before too unless u specified. and then id feel like shit finding out u had all these expectations that I couldn't meet bc i didnt know about them. and ofc youngchan didnt magically feel better when he heard hyunsoo apologize, he just felt even more guilty about having his feelings in the first place. he still should have communicated all that he felt and some expectations and hopes - or at least that he is insecure in their relationship and himself - so that they can avoid this mess in the future and develop some real trust between them. hyunsoo is getting very secure in their relationship and is thriving consequently, but youngchan is drowning in his feelings of doubt and fear alone. he can't girlboss his way out of that either, theyre gonna have to work on that together fr fr cuz its not sustainable. I cant believe this is the epilogue cuz aint no way they have time for all that
