he tian and mo are more popular by a significantly large amount but you’re surely not the only one. I like xi and jian yi more too but I think a lot xi and jian yi fans just aren’t as vocal about it. typically I find that he tian and mo fans every chapter love to talk about how much more they enjoy and love he tian and mo, while zheng xi and jian yi fans are generally pretty quiet about it/not as vocal. it may also have to do with the fact that since zheng xi and jian yi aren’t as popular, people may feel a little weird putting the opinion out there because they’re afraid it will come across as hate for the other couple when it isn’t, as I find that some people take preferences the wrong way occasionally. in general when people mention their preferences, doesn’t matter to which couple (and this goes for any story ever with any multi-ship whether that be 'ze', 'kashikomarimashita, destiny' etc.), it should be noted that saying “I like X more than Y” does not equate to “I hate Y”, it just simply means you enjoy one even more than you enjoy the other. Just as “I like Chocolate more than Peanut butter” doesn’t mean you hate peanut butter but if you’re at an ice cream shop and you have to choose one flavor, you’re likely to choose the one you like more. I myself enjoy he tian and mo IMMENSELY and love all of the characters, even he cheng and qiu. there are many people who comment daily about their love for he tian and mo, how their storyline has become more interesting for them than the other two, etc. so it can often feel like a little lonely but it’s something you just have to remind yourself each day -- that there are people who could be like you. and the people who say they prefer he tian and mo probably most likely also enjoy zhan and jian yi as well (just as in the reverse when ppl say they like zhan and jian yi more), just not as much as they enjoy he tian and mo. <3 it's all good.

I get that it can feel a bit lonely but trust that you’re not alone. I think another reason why it also seems like you can be the only one sometimes is because their storyline hasn’t really been touched on in a long while .. which contributes to less people talking about them. the author has been focusing much more on he tian and mo, even in chapters with the four of them, sometimes she uses zheng xi and jian yi to set a moment for he tian and mo up. this may cause people to feel less attached to zhan and jian yi because of that and given that there is less content to talk about. I think when the author is finally ready to focus on their storyline properly and going into arcs with them again (espcially when jian yi disappears later), people will talk about them more and it will feel that there are more people out there. :) hope that helped.
