I dont see anything wrong with what tess is saying. How is she supposed to know how old he actually is. She is rightfully getting angry bc he isn't taking her feelings seriously. He didnt reject her he avoided the topic all together by trying to joke around. She wants proper closure not that.
She didn't say "why don't you like me" shes saying "dont joke abt my feelings please take me seriously"
