The recuperation part is just a facade. The ML will return as a Guy (Claude) . Then after he came back Blair was already gone. So he's doing everything to find her. And few years later, they met again. Which is shown on chapter 1. Meaning the dreams she had on chapter 1 was a premonition. That's the end of season 1

Chloe is facing backlashes from turning his bofy to a man directly. The maid will get kicked out of the house and Chloe will be " sent out" from far away to recuperate. The Duke blamed the maid for getting Chloe sick. That's why she was kicked out.
Chloe wasn't actually sent out to recuperate but just to make his Girl persona out of the picture. Then he became Claude, but when he came back she's gone. Years have passed and he finally found her location. Which is shown on chapter 1 . End of season 1

Thank you. I was enjoying what was going on so far and when I went to look at the comments I was surprised so many were upset and dissing Tess. It sucks it had to be because of that. I wonder what the author is trying to say with that situation. I mean, it sounds out of character. Maybe the author wanted to cause drama, but was a bit burnt out or was have a writer’s block, plus a deadline they had to meet. The the author was like ‘f$&& it!’ ┗( T﹏T )┛
