They said that sorcerers communicate through a basin of water and everytime they flashback or show a fragment of cecils past we always see her holding a vase full of water while talking to the maids. There really wasn't any maids there in the first place! They were sorcerers guiding cecil when she was younger. That would explain why there wasn't any maids when they investigated

Ok so my guess was right. I read a spoiler that cecil is the current grand sorceress, her mom was the previous sorceress and when she died her power were passed down to cecil. The grand sorceress power includes fixing time. Apparently there were different time where cecil and the ml already met but they always end tragically. Cecil and the ml keeps getting reborn cuz of that i think.
Also there are 4 couple in total
The main the ml and fm
The dragon and the maid
The saint and the guard guy
Irene with the tower master guy
Cecil and the ml will have 1 child he has cecils blond hair and emerald eyes but he looks exactly like the ml just a young blonde ver.

I feel sorry for the Saint , kane is wild(lol) in one of the side stories the ml found handcuffs from his table so he used that to handcuff cecil so she won't escape.

On a side note I'm so shocked this is gay, Im more honestly inclined of the MC being the father figure of those 3 dorks cuz of the age difference and also what those two beetches need (yi-heon and sekyung) isn't homosexuality in their blood it's a damn father let's not forget jaemin too- and tbh I wish this was a story about the og yi-heon with sekyung because honestly he is the most pitiful and I wish him nothing but happiness (also ngl I view duekpal to be more of a big brother/ father figure not only for his age but the fact he treats everyone around him as a child so I am def more hoping his role is like that) and if the ending in the kdrama is similar then I don't think I'd ever be satisfied - just my opinion but don't watch the last 5 min of the ending of the kdrama maybe just personal preference but I feel like that really ruined the story for me and I hope the manhwa would take a different route even tho I doubt it as this is most probably where the kdrama was based off ( it's actually pretty accurate interpretation kdrama even the cast are honestly perfect, ONE REGRET WE COULD'VE HAD BLONDE-ISH YI-HEON SOBS) lmaoo I took too long in this rant
