No wedding or anything but they definitely ended up together. I don't recall if he even left the Dukedom because his dad was against it. Don't remember too much but romance is definitely not the main goal to the story.

This is what i remember from reading the novel but she gets picked up pretty quickly by Catherine (? The girl who’s bro tried to kill fl) and her growing family.
I’m not sure how much spoilers you want but this is a really bittersweet story that can leave you with a lot of mixed emotions. Im trying to keep it vague since I think this story is genuinely worth the read if you can stomach the ML and his inability to take responsibility for his actions for a while.

FL does begin to heal from her thoughts of suicide and depression. There are still scars that cannot be repaired, but she does come to terms with being alive and chooses to keep living.

Plus the miscommunication gets resolved pretty quickly, like aside from the whole plot of her keeping her swordsmanship a secret from her husband (now ex) which doesn’t make much sense to me, this is overall better than the other stories that follow the same formula but still have the fl go back to the ex.

It got me so confused if we were actually reading the same story From the comments here, it’s like people just want to read a cliche badass revenge woman doing whatever she wants which is unfortunate because I think the way this story develops is wayyyyy more natural and realistic than those FL who just wake up and chose violence randomly one day lol
