Shihoon (aka "Sugar Daddy", aka "oppa") is gay. He is Mari's brother. Mari calls him "oppa".

Mari is seeing a married man. She calls the married-cheating man "My Oppa".

Junyoung hears "oppa" out of her mouth all the time and assumes "oppa" and "My Oppa" are the same person. They are not.

"My Oppa" (Mari's married-cheating boyfriend) went on vacation with his family and because of that, is not seeing Mari at the moment.

"Oppa" (Mari's brother) began seeing Junyoung at the same time that Mari is currently not seeing "My Oppa" (her married-cheating boyfriend) because he is gone with his family, so he thinks Shihoon (aka "Sugar Daddy", aka "oppa") is cheating on her with him.

Mari caught her brother (aka "Sugar Daddy", aka "oppa") kissing another guy a long time ago so she's knows he's gay. Shihoon (aka "Sugar Daddy", aka "oppa") does not know Mari caught him, so he doesn't know that she knows he's gay. SO-- he doesn't want Mari to know that he's gay, or about his relationship with Junyoung.

Junyoung thinks Shihoon (aka... ahh, you get it by now) doesn't want Mari to know about him because Shihoon is the married-cheating boyfriend (aka "My Oppa"...which he's not) and doesn't want Mari to think he's cheating on her.

tl;dr -- Mari calls her married-cheating boyfriend the same name as her brother, which is just confusing for everybody... except Mari.

Well I think this story is also very strongly about understanding mistakes. Conor can see mistakes he made - and now he tries no to do them again. He is being very heart opened and straightforward - that's why I find Simon's acting (taking care of Veronica's so called pregnancy) disturbing...

honestly? i feel as if simon is the one who's actually really fucked up their relationship. you're right when you say that conor broke up with simon, but that was understandable, when we remember how absolutely pissed his parents were when they found out he was gay, and that's not even mentioning the horrors he went threw being asian and gay (did you forget how every one of his fingers were broken)?

simon is the one that wanted pete dead, and it's his fault that gale is raping and killing all these people that are against simon, and it's his fault that he went to court, and now has an ankle bracelet. conor didn't know what would happen when he broke up with simon, but i'm pretty sure simon had at least a slight idea of what would happen with pete and gale.

and i haven't even gone into the veronica shit !!

Thats what i feel man. But yeah, Veronica though is in a whole diff level. Faking that pregnancy. Actually looking forward to the time when conor will confront veronica about it.

one thing, we can't really blame one character in this whole the events in the story. cause the plot won't let you do it, the characters do everything and fault at their own actions in some way or another.
but you still can't blame only Conor or only Simon at "all" what happen.
like Conor parents finiding out, this is actually not anyone fault apart from the one that hack Simon phone and incriminate Simon has the one that send this pictures.
but has they, the characters in this, can hurt each other they can also fix things at the same time and do good things.
like Conor that broke Simon heart and left him, yeas he was in pain but at least he should have think before he did it! but he still come back and try to fix it.
Simon is also a victim in here without any family that support him but he also did a lot of mistakes. like going after Pate that hurt the one he love the most, Conor. he was pissed and Upset and you can't really blame him either.
the only one I trully hate is the crazy brother and kill people and enjoy killing them and rape them. but again, he's save Simon from been killed and yet want him in jail. cause he fuck up in the head.
