I was pleasantly surprised that it didn't take the entire manga for the seme to realize and admit to his feelings. I love how straightforward he can be. All he needed was a nudge in the right direction and some awareness to his behavior. And as soon as he realized the cause of his frustration he actually apologized, too! Like a real apology, not "it's not my fault because i love you" apology. He took responsibility for being an asshat. I'm SO looking forward to how their relationship is gonna progress, they're so cute!
Why is it that the super possessive, jump to conclusions, easily jealous types never stop to think that their partner can get just as insecure if they feel that somethings wrong? He goes ballistic if he thinks even the smallest detail of Shingo's life is kept from him, but he gets to keep all the secrets he wants??? Especially secrets that could potentially hurt their relationship. I feel like Shingo is the only one that is showing any growth in the relationship and i'm pretty annoyed by that.
Looks like that happens frequently in a relationship where one partner is too dominant while the other is relatively weak and too much in love.
I'm enjoying the story but is it too much to ask for a female lead that isn't completely clueless? It's such a cliche that i'm having a difficult time separating this manga with the thousands of others just like it. It's not very memorable at all... Finding a story where the main obstacle to the relationship isn't the girls stupidity is becoming a rarity. Anyone have any recommendations?
You should try reading akatsuki no yona. She becomes strong after her father is killed.
I'm currently reading it. She is one of the better heroines out there right now. And she does seem to be realizing her feelings for Hak (although slowly), I guess I just wish more characters wouldn't be so slow in realizing their feelings. It's not a very creative obstacle to romance. Like if they literally sat down and THOUGHT about their own feelings for 10 seconds it would be obvious. I would much rather have a character that is aware of their feelings to some degree but is in denial about them for a reason specific to that character. At least that would be more original and interesting to read. *sigh* oh well.
Great story, so realistic. But as a side note, am I the only one that gets irritated when ukes (or sometimes even semes) are completely oblivious to the interest of others when it's so obvious? Like, isn't it insensitive to their partner when they have no sense of preservation when it comes to people trying to get with them. Or they ignore and dismiss the warnings from their partner. That just irks me
This correction was posted on Mangaupdates by another commentor. Just FYI for those who don't want to be misled by the description provided.
"Nae's (the heroine) parents did not divorce, her parents died in an accident when she was younger. the verbally abusive couple she lives with in the beginning are her "distant relatives" (she refers to them as her aunt and uncle). she also did not run away, but was rather taken away by kaoru's grandfather without her knowledge in the middle of the night."
But it's completely unscanlated.... ╥﹏╥
