Ok I’m reading given rn and this is my view on the most recent chapter; The mere fact that ue thought of the idea of basically embodying mafuyus ex in his song is amazing, it’s basically him showing that he wants to(or even does but that might be a stretch) know mafuyus ex and his life and not just him THROUGH mafuyu which makes it seem as if he wants to know EVERY. THING. about mafuyu both through him and NOT through him (if this makes any sense but basically, I love the fact that ue loves mafuyu as well as wants to know all of mafuyus experiences and lives that were connected to him, I’m crying rn)

bro i agree with everyone, was the years (decades in arthur’s POV bc of the time training thing) of training just to be subpar in comparison to the soldiers of the alacryan?? like we understood that the power scaling of dicanth was way lower than the other regions/continents, but arthur should’ve been past that by now!
also to the people STILL complaining about the art, would you rather us not have a manga? would you rather them drop it? the art is still top tier, it is a simple change. not a downgrade, not wildly different, literally just an artist change. how do you think dozens of people work on the same animation in anime and the style is consistent with the manga art? artists adapt to art styles, it’s apart of the job.
This just shows how much stronger the alacryans are compared to everyone else. Even the Lances get ECLIPSED by the just the Retainers. If Alacrya are Serpents then Dicathen are Worms.
I mean bruh, i can name countless manhwas with worse stories, with art a million times better. Yes a million times better. This manhwa is legit getting an anime, if anything the art needs to be getting better but it's getting worse.

So purely on art, Magic academy's genius blinker, absolute regression, the regressed mercenery's machinations, return of the mt hua sect, bad born blood, childhood friend of the zenith, orv, indomitable martial king, the return of the crazy demon, surviving as a genius on borrowed time, eternally regressing knight, swordmaster's youngest son, the last adventurer, legend of the northern blade, return of the shattered constellation, reaper of the drifting moon, sss class suicide hunter, existence, solo levelling, leveling with the gods, murim login ,windbreaker, heavenly swords grand saga, mercenery enrollment. Of what i have read this what i got. Some aren't a crazy amount better, but i would say 80 percent of these have art several leagues higher than tbate. But every single manhwa here has better art, yet many dont have a good story compared to tbate. But yeah tbates art is ass lets be real, the story carries it.

Art is actually no where NEAR powerful enough to take on Alacrya. Actually, no one is. Diacthen hasn’t realised this yet for various reasons. Those horns should be a pretty big teller though as to why. Seris’s appearance and Art’s weakness is leading up to Arthur’s power ups, and sets up for the ACTUAL enemy at hand. He is OP in Diacethen…but not Alacrya. And it’s because the asuras gave more to Alacrya than in Diacthen, so the whole continent is underpowered. At this point in the story, Arthur truly fits the saying “frog in the well”. He’s strong; strong enough to fight against high level Alacryans and win, but that’s in a 1V1, plus there’s only one of him, and lots of them. He’s about to realise exactly how much stronger he needs to get…and it’s going to be through tragedies, not only through fights. The situation is going to get much, much, MUCH worse, before it gets even marginally better.
It’s what makes me love this story so much, an overpowered protagonist that rarely wins, and no sugarcoating what can and will happen. Things won’t go the way you always want them to, and wars aren’t waged without death. It brings a lot of depth to the characters, to see how they react during the darkest of times and the most traumatic of moments. It makes you feel for them and wish you could change the outcome, but you can’t do anything but keep reading as support for the characters, with the hope it will get better, and mourn with them.
Let’s hold hands everyone; we’re going to need to support each other during these dark arcs, and support Art from afar.

anyway, TBATE does have rlly good story but the artist situation has been up in the air for a while. ppl were shitting on second artist as he was getting used to drawing action manwha, but he low key locked in after a few chapters. Fubuki was glazed asf just for being the og artist, even tho he was mid at best (he’s a romance artist, what do u expect?). the current artist is COOKING so far with the magic vfx and the introduction of Seris, which is very accurate to the official novel art. all in all, you had a few decent examples but overall, ur cooked mate
Are you slow man. Im comparing the art of these manhwas to tbate your comments literally make no sense. And i dont understand why you say dumb shit like " wtf r u on the plot is great" like i never said any of these manhwas had bad plot idiot. Im saying compared to tbate their plots arent that good, and I also said many, which means some of them may or may not have better plots than tbate. In no way did i infer that any of these manhwas had bad plots. So every example i had was indeed correct if we look at art alone. Gain a better understanding of the English Language.
your og argument was that tbate is carried by its plot, and has bad or mid art. u then claimed that other manhwa have better art with worse plot, and listed many. i replied to each one, mostly disapproving them. tbate is not carried solely by its plot. yes the plot is good, and yes other manhwa have better art, but that alone does not prove your point. english is my third language. i speak it because it’s the only language you know, you speak it because it’s the only language you know, we are not the same. learn how to prove a point coherently before insulting others on the internet, 13yo.

Now This statement means that many of the manhwas I have listed do not have a good story compared to tbate. So lets just say that story wise tbate is a 8.5 in my opinion, most of the manhwas I have listed are below that 8.5 in my opinion.
