Hi! It's really interesting question tbh! I don't like to watch movies or TV series with actors because it confuses me who is who and because of that I have problems with understanding plot, that's why I watch mostly only cartoons or read comics - there characters are really much more different from each other than in real life, for example characters may have various hair colors like pink, blue, green and often wear the same clothes in every episode, thanks to that I can remember - oh, it is this character because I recognise his blue hair and pink sweatshirt! (random example) but I have problems when comic is in realistic art style and for example all characters have black hair.
Reading comics and watching cartoon is much easilier for me but it depends on art style and characters design, sometimes I still feel confused uwu"
