ok y'all, i read the raws and finished it and let me just say this series was plain dissapointing just cause it had potential to be mucchh better.. there wasn't a proper explanation to what happened to howan and sungtae. sungtae was a total asshole and everything but he still didn't deserve to be raped and starved. well the wrecked train finally stopped somewhere, lol
basically jinyoo and hayan tried saving howan and sungtae but they told the two they don't have much time and stuff so the two try escaping on their own but right when they're at the exit, gyuhwool comes out of nowhere with a knife and he pushes hayan who falls down the stairs and and loses consciousness. then jinyoo kisses gyuhwool and as he's a coward and is stabbed by gyuhwool who also loses consciousness and then jinyoo screams for help by the exit door which is opened by the police who arrived due to an old woman getting her hand on the cd on which jinyoo had written in. the old woman informed the police about it. jinyoo and hayan are saved, fast forward to 3 months laters and the two are continuing their relationship outside and gyuhwool is currently on trial and news about it had been spread everywhere on internet and tv news. the ending scene is similar to the scene when jinyoo was attacked by the cashier. this time too, jinyoo goes to a convenience store to buy ramen where he notices the cashier looking at him every now and then. the situation feels awfully familiar to jinyoo when he stands in front of the cashier who is shown to be gyuhwool. the webtoon ends with jinyoo's terrified face, lol.
apparently minjae and woochan go to the museum together with professor and when minjae and woochan touch the necklace together, we get to see their past life. they were lovers in their past life as well which was 10,000 years ago and they belonged to some tribe. that's all i can say or else i'll spoil too much, lol
so minjae and woochan's past self each belonged to a different tribe who were at war with each other. woochan was injured and minjae saved him and when asked him why he did that, minjae said that he doesn't care about the different tribes thing. then woochan fell in love with minjae the more they spent time with each other while woochan was recovering. they confess to each other and consummate their relationship after that (it's implied) and when woochan goes back to his tribe, his father who is the chief scolds him as he was nowhere to be found. woochan proposes an idea to his father on how to stop the war and that is that he'll marry a person from minjae's tribe (most likely minjae) as a peace agreement. then we get to see two new villianous characters who i really don't know. btw this is based on the latest raw of ch. 36. previous chapter spoilers are mentioned in a reply to someone :)
it's an obvious thing that there will be two groups of readers divided into those who ship nakyum x seungho (like me) and those who don't but that doesn't mean you guys go thrashing the other group just cause your opinions clash like wtf, it's fiction.. it's not real plus take the historical setting into mind too. if the themes bother you so much then don't read it. or just read and go if you can't respect other's opinions. it's seriously not that hard, really.. stop being so rude to others over a FICTIONAL story.
This is the best explanation for why we like rape manga that I've ever fuckin seen. Bravo my friend
Agree. It's freaking annoying seeing those people try to shame others. They will end up together, like it or not.
It's not our problem some can't see the difference between real life and fiction ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
I don't care if someone doesn't ship it or hates SH, but a lot of these people are making people who do into something else. 'oh you like rape manga, you must also support it in real life', 'everyone who ships NKxSH is sick' and yeah there are also kink shamers.
These aren't going after the story or a character, but the readers. And I'll fight back because they are in the wrong. As I said, I don't give a shit if you hate SH or rape, but I'm not staying put if you go against the readers.
I literally said I don't care what you think of the story or SH. But I will defend myself and my fellow mates, because people who call us names are literally worse than SH himself. The worst kind being the ones who send death threats to translators and authors, those are a certain kind.
Ask those people how they'll feel about real people getting raped and you might see a surprising answer. Some people adore murder, gore and slasher films, do they also need to feel morally guilty for liking these? I don't have a 'rape kink' but I do enjoy reading rape stories more than those fluff ones. People who do have it like to put themselves in ukes position, or maybe some in the semes. Some people don't have partners to rp this or are uncomfortable
it's all a matter of perspective, i believe. readers will take in the story in different ways with their own interpretations. you're not wrong but so aren't the nakyum x seungho shippers. i just feel that we should just have fun theorizing the plot with each other but at the same time, respect each other's opinions and take on of the story. ofc people shouldn't support rape in real life, that's messed up but this is fiction so as long as it stays here as fiction and is not taken in as something real or influencing.. it shouldn't hurt anyone.
i understand what you're trying to say. like you said, people like watching movies or series about a serial killer or even satanic cults but then again, as long as it remains as a fictional preference and doesn't influence you to support things like that in real life, it's fine. it shouldn't hurt anyone because of the elements you prefer in fictional media.
and yes, the name calling with the threats is something that exceeds the boundaries anyone should have when interacting with someone online. cyberbullying has never done any good for both parties so people should really learn how to respect other's opinions and go because it really won't be making a difference in your real life so don't put the effort to bully.
