Do I ship them? No. Do I think she's annoying? Also no. I'm going to take a guess here and say you don't like her because you're stuck in a toxic fujoshi mindset where you villainize girls because they get in the way of a gay relationships. You see all the time in yaoi, so of course when it's hinted that a girl likes him in a non-yaoi story, you signal her out for all her faults and try to rationalize why she's no good for him compared to her brother.
Look, I ship him with Sangmin too. I loved that immature brat/level headed guy dynamic they had going on, and the closeness they share after years of friendship. I don't agree with hitting your friends either, but it was clearly done in jest, and let's not pretend Sangnim can't be as rough with him, if not rougher (as we saw in his past life).
Uuuuhhhh... more than the fujoshi thing I would say it's because female characters are usually just badly written. They are flat and exist solely for the sake of being love interests for the guy. We know virtually nothing about Haemi, her main character trait is that she likes the MC. Whereas we know a lot more about Sangmin, he is written with more depth and facets, so he actually makes more sense as a potential partner for the main character.
Now, I don't dislike Haemi, so if later issues show show more aspects of her and make her interesting, instead of dwelling only on her one-sided crush, then I'll heartily ship the MC with her as well.
I don't disagree with you, and I personally think both the sister and her feelings popped out of no where. I'll definitely need to see more development on her end (or at the very least an explanation on /why/ she likes him) for me to ship them.
I was more addressing OP's comments on her irrational dislike for the sister. Instead of explaining why they don't like her as a love interest, they wonder why Jihyun doesn't hate her when she's being nothing but caring towards him, says she's jealous of her being a love interest (um, ok), and has a general dislike for her apparently abusive personality. All pretty empty reasoning, is what I'm pointing out. I just wonder if she were a hot guy instead of a hot girl, would they have the same feelings?
Yeah, and I feel she was done dirty by that time skip. Would've made for some cute content to see the origins of her feelings. But it's still early, maybe they'll address it in later chapters.
in my opinion, i think the mc shouldnt be with sangmin nor sangmin's older sister NOR his first love. they just dont give that vibe.. like sangmin is like a psychopath while sangmin's older sister rubs off as an older sister who cares about mc type of vibe. and for the first love, i just think he feels more sorry than being in love from my POV. idk i just think mc should just be single (〜￣△￣)〜
Yea in chap 3 I kinda saw that sky's fiancé actions seemed kinda sad to me.

I guess it was because I was listening to sad songs when reading this chapter because I imagined a different version of this playing out wif her (sky's fiancé) being sad and in tears saying something incredibly sad that made me realised...... mostly every man in this manga (except for the dads) are complete assholes lol, I mean not all but most.
I know it was like arranged n shit and it was kinda the girls fault too (somehow) I jus preferred my version ha.....ha.
