The ending was rushed. So much was set up and established that this series felt like it was meant to be much longer than quick a 5-10ish chapter read. Sentarou’s career, the actual family bonding, more backstory about them and actual genuine love that’s better than whatever we got because it happened so fast and still feels superficial. It’s too quick. The pacing would work more for some quick lighthearted read of two already established guys in a relationship watching a kid for the weekend than two guys who still are trying to get together + angst + has their own motivations and goals + the kid is THEIRS to actually RAISE + whatever tf is up with Ririko and the backstory… too much for such little chapters! It left off so disappointing.

This could’ve easily been something that ended in about 40-50 chapters after a year or two of publishing than just 11!

Kinda wish there were more long running BL about just raising a family. Like the slice of life “Azumanga Daioh” where characters go through the months and years and age, except as a cute cozy long running family manga. And I say family because I know there’s long running BL with MC who are students and young adults, but I’d prefer a family because we can see the lives of both the adults and kids as they age so it doesn’t get old (and there’s only so many chapters I can read of a high school/young adult romance before I get bored lmao).

Feel like the cozy market isn’t really getting tapped into for wholesome family manga!

Okay, I could’ve sworn that his heart only explodes once his true strength as “being stronger than any dragon or demon king” is revealed. But why can’t he just use a bit of his strength to at least be as powerful as the average magic using noble kid or something? Why fail miserably at everything on purpose but do that annoying fucking cackling smile each time because people don’t know his true strength? Why put up with the director abusing everyone the whole time but secretly cackling the entire time while your siblings don’t know you could’ve ended him lmao? No one cares if you’re secretly strong but do Jack shit to help anyone; it’s just a waste!

Still at the beginning chapters but MC is high key good potential that’s wasted on the whole “can’t do ANYTHING of importance despite being strong” narrative, because even the hidden strength characters he drools over still use their powers to do SOMETHING. Also, why not use the meat from the monsters he hunted to feed his siblings in the orphanage? He could’ve said he found them dead or something lmao

I wish this one kept going… an isekai with gyaru and not the usual protagonist was so fun, and it was interesting seeing them interact with the “usual” protagonist, their old friend. I didn’t even think they were annoying; more like it leaned into the absurdity and comedy of a gyaru isekai and still developed their characters besides a one note joke.

It’s sad they cut this one! It’s actually cute and wholesome! I guess the original audiences or publisher would rather prefer if the art style was more sketch in the moe/loli department or the child became the love interest like Usagi Drop or for my daughter I’d defeat the demon lord because why cut this one?

Interesting. Saving to binge it later, since reading mysteries that my brain NEEDS to know the answer to chapter by chapter frustrates me more than entertain lmao.

I wonder if there’s a secret work affair, if it were a pure accident, or some other shady deal. Because all the people at her job are so shady to me so far lmao

Pls I really don’t care about public safety’s bull at all I just wanna know WTF exactly happened to Nayuta offscreen

(〜 ̄△ ̄)〜

I wonder if he’ll sign his next line since he can’t say them verbally, since a big theme of this manga is “expressing yourself” and communicating/being understood in both ways (body and voice). That’d be a nice twist.

The romantic scene in chapter 5 gave me both butterflies and second hand embarrassment when I remembered he did that corny aah jump in public and the MC commented that it probably looked awkward to passerby’s lmao

Last chapter high key made me want this to be an acting shounen like Act Age (can’t believe it was canceled because the author was a disgusting creep) since I think we’re drastically missing something in that area. The author is great at writing character motivations and small stakes, so I’d imagine them taking on a shounen-type series and filling the void of act age with bigger stakes and more challenges would be top tier entertainment with how well they write characters and communication!

Akari nooo (/TДT)/

This is an interesting take on a magical girl. I wish it got more popular. Interesting too how her companion fills in for her using her younger image with pigtails and not her current appearance

Ok this is unhinged and off topic BUTTTT I kinda wanna know what exactly was the problem that MC had with his acting. At first I got the impression that he had too exaggerated comedy style acting from being a child actor (and in theater, where exaggeration is more necessary for the stage). Like a Disney kid doing corny over the top Disney sitcom acting for a more adult drama role. Doesn’t fit for serious roles, but is great for child audiences that can’t grasp subtle concepts to read the actors expressions in child-aimed content.

But then, another flashback with his theater instructor, the problem is that he stands out and they want his costars to shine too so he was shafted to the background as comic relief… HUH? Isn’t this THEATER? Isn’t that good main character material for when you’re on a stage and the audience waaay back needs to read your movements? NANI???! Maybe the instructor should help his costars to do better then instead of shaft him for their sake because they can’t stand out ON STAGE????????

THEN the instructor thanks deaf guy because MC learned he wants to do better so that even audiences who can’t hear can tell what he’s saying. Good inspo… but wasn’t he ALREADY acting in that direction? He’s just trying to perfect it now, not redo his whole acting style. So does that mean there was nothing wrong with his acting (for theater, not for the cinema peeps) in the first place? He just needed to perfect it? Why is the instructor thanking deaf guy like his acting was tomato tomato atrocious from the start or sumn, when it’s clear he has good foundation from when deaf guy, who COULDN’T HEAR, was impressed with his performance in the first chapter?

I got it that for cinema, he needs to learn to be subtle and not so exaggerated, but for his theater career what is theee problem? It’s distracting me when I’m trying to read cute guys help — (/TДT)/

Tiricchi created a topic of Kiraide Isasete

The part with the kids was cute but the conflict resolution of the couple didn’t satisfy me like… wtf did Naoto apologize for lmao. He was probably just feeling bad about the situation itself and wanted to say sumn because he honestly wasn’t in the wrong in any way in this instance, and Haa-kun should’ve said more about his part in this. Seemed kinda brushed through, as if it didn’t even need to happen in the plot lmao. If anything made me like Haa-Kun less. I hate when “communication” really means both sides must make amends as if both did something equally as bad even if one side didn’t even do shit like huh?

Tiricchi created a topic of Kiraide Isasete

There’s a difference between saying “be careful” and victim blaming. What he said isn’t okay, and using “he’s stressed!” As an excuse is dumb asf. But then again, I hope most readers are just saying this for their fav yaoi couple and know FULL WELL that irl if their boyfriend says some vile shit like “if you weren’t so careless you wouldn’t have been r@ped” is a red flag no matter how “pEnT uP” with stress he’s in lmao. Everyone gets stressed and knows shit like THAT is off limits no matter what. I’m sure that teenage Naoto handling a baby when he was a child himself after an assault was MORE stressed than Hazuki is now. Dumbass could just speak like a grown ass father and adult, naoto was right to call him childish. Even if he was so upset he’d speak a bit angrily, it shouldn’t include PHYSICALLY pinning your partner and then victim blaming them lmaooo.

Y’all frustration with him hiding dumb shit for no reason in previous chapters should not justify claiming Hazuki being right.Naoto wasn’t right then, but Hazuki isn’t right now! Lmaooo

Tiricchi created a topic of Kiraide Isasete

Idk man if you’re struggling to parent the babies you already got why do you keep pumping your mate with more of them each volume .

Jokes aside, I get he’s trying and all his feelings of inadequacy just imploded but I side with Naoto’s anger. That line was way too far, and implying he’d get assaulted with his guard down is literally what happened to him irl. You’d think his mind wouldn’t even wander to say something like that after he literally dealt with the assaulter first hand in the 2nd volume lol. But maybe it’s also because he’s this frustrated with so many responsibilities while being SO YOUNG like my jaw dropped when I realized he was still only 23 guys. All them babies and company work at 23?!!? Are they on a big hillbilly family speedrun because they’re beating them damn, slow down lmao. Bruh didn’t even get time to cook in the oven and mature and he’s already a father of three. Same with Naoto, only twenty six. Gaddamn

Ok after a line like that, is the author still denying that it’s a bl? Or was that just made up by commenters? Because I’m pretty sure bffs don’t normally UNIRONICALLY come to such conclusions UNLESS they’re gonna twist it next chapter and backtrack like “b-but he meant it like sayo is his servant! Totally not bl guys I swear!!”

But why keep teasing atp instead of just going through with it; this isn’t the early days of manga I’m sure the people reading it in Japan are shippers anyway

I’m SO GLAD everyone is finally talking about the original siwon! I remember reading this years back and dropping it when I realized there will never be no swapping back to his own body and the OG siwon is just dead with no closure and nobody cares. I felt so bad for him, I hate when soul/body swapping stories just delete the original soul and everyone loves the imposter soul who’s taking over their body. It didn’t feel right then, and the comments were so supportive of this comic that I just chalked it up to ME seeing it differently and dropped it.

So glad other people are seeing the light and got the big ick from this too! Justice for OG siwon! I’d really like another version of this story where he survives from being swapped in the MC’s body, and they somehow work to also get him some closure and he can swap back in the end to live out his adult life in peace because wtf?! Poor fucking kid!!! Even the MC just brushes off his suffering!

Ok childcare manga can step aside; I’ll totally take more BL manga with the leads raising random cute highly intelligent slug creatures. They can even write smutty manuscripts and give love advice!

(Also lmao at the whole concept of wigglemichi. Lost it when he could write and had a social media lmaooo)

Tiricchi created a topic of HITS

So… the second kid comes from a parallel universe and the glasses guy introduced in the later chapters that loves their father figure travels between them casually? Is that what I’m understanding?

The way the boys adjusted so easily to having a parallel twin is insane, especially the original one. Also everyone in this series is batshit insane and nothing makes sense and I love it. From the expressions to the chaos and unpredictability. The only thing I don’t like is the casual SA scenes like ick wtf :/

Would be nice if there were more manga with this absurdist, chaotic tone that just did NOT care and said fuck all with a fun ensemble cast. The hitmen having ranks and all is interesting too. The art is also amazing, too bad so many panels are used on uncomfortable SA like damn (╯°Д °)╯╧╧

Tiricchi created a topic of J<->M

This is fun and all, but my 5am brain is wondering how they managed to get used to basic things like toilet breaks and bathing in the other persons body since they can’t even switch for that willingly lmaooo. Dude went str8 to killing in her body but glazed over the basic human stuff lol

Can that ho Mei pls just fuckin die already she’s getting on my nerves atp, like she’s the only obstacle in the way of everyone’s happiness but just keeps disappearing every time they barely can grasp her. It’ll start to get even more annoying if the author keeps writing the same formula of wild hint appears -> encounter another weirdass founder -> sayo proves himself by being so innocent and pure -> they go through an explosion of self awareness/backstory and in turn gives barely useful information about mei -> they catch mei ON SIGHT and she says “lmao u tried” and vanishes into sparkle dust.

Oh, and don’t forget Yamadera’s annoying ass gets a little backstory and trauma dump, Sayo comes through and becomes the daddy he never had (and I know he realizes Sayo is way too good for him) seems like he’s slowly healing and improving as a character…. And then goes back to being cocky and annoying as FUCK for no reason other than a raging inferiority complex atp. Like brother, his character doesn’t have to do a 180 or anything because that’s CHEAP, but at least have him act on his tiny bits of realization/development a LITTLE and not be the same sociopathic brat from chapter 1-3 in EACH ARC. Holy hell, the second I start to slightly feel bad for him and like him a little, he resets back to the status quo.

Like I get it, Mei is an interesting antagonist! Yamadera, despite being a lil shit, is a really entertaining side character! But sometimes I feel like the story just keeps resetting the status quo and we go back to where we began, except now Sayo has a new random vampire joining his found family.

The only person here that I like is Sayo, his mom, and Mirei. MORE SNACKS FOR MIREI!!!
