The uke is so cute. Ahhh. Very wholesome at the end. The mangaka has quite the saucy collection.

It was a nice read and had an interesting plot. Though the beginning was a bit confusing to me, but maybe that's because of the translation. Good art and really well drawn hands (maybe I'm just saying that because the last manhwa I read had poorly drawn hands haha). I really liked Rosen's character development.

Spoiler??
I found that Gregory (the mean red headed, ponytail guy) just existed to be hated. Didn't have much structure as a character or much of a backstory to him. All we know is that he ran away at the start of the war and came back after it ended for the glory and trying to gain rank? But he's just a general a**hole.

Hindley, on the other hand, portrayed the antagonist very well. Maybe a little generic as the wife beater and the abusive father, but I sure did hate him.

I'm glad Rosen and Ian finally ended up together in the side stories. Because if it just ended after she escaped my heart couldn't take it.

Would have loved to see some side stories about the island of Walprgis/Witch's island and how Rosen and Emily were finally reunited. Seems interesting. Maybe it wasn't mentioned in detail in the novel?

One thing I really admire the artist for is not using the 3D models to draw the characters. So many other manhwa have really stiff and oddly posed characters with really long limbs. Though there were a few wonky poses and funny ways of holding objects in general. haha

*Spoilers*
I found it a bit odd that Ibelin just disappears after telling Latte that she hates her and only comes back for a moment in an extra showing that she's with the prince and is preggers. Absolutely no character development with her. But she's just existing and going with the flow.

Drity Thoughts asked a question

Give me a Renaissance era manhwa that doesn't use the generic CGI model of the horse and carriage. Does one exist? lol

I know it's to save the artist time so they can crank out chapters for their readers. But, I swear it's the same horse ever time. haha

It infuriates me how she's holding her knife and fork! Someone give it a try and see how weird it is

Her head is turned 180. haha

Trail of "dead bodies" lol

The face I make when I'm constipated. lol

TLDR; She's too perfect. Solutions to problems just lands on her lap like it's nothing. Too many blondes!

Rant and spoiler: Gonna be quite critical with this. This kind of storytelling and characters aren't my thing, I guess. I wanted to read a story with a strong female lead, but she was too much of a Mary Sue. Too perfect in everything she does. All her surgeries never fails, she has a solution for everything and it'll always end in success, multiple love interests that doesn't fight for her, etc. Her only real enemies were the people the always underestimated her because she's a girl, too young, too frail, lack the ability, is a noble's daughter, "can't be serious", and the list goes on. That one emperor, Nicolas what's his face, is always going, "Agh, I've been foiled again! I'll get you next time!" and it goes on 3 or 4 more times. The beginning and middle part of the war was like, "Oh no, we don't have enough supplies. Let me ask daddy!" and "I need an oxygen machine, but how do I get one??" Then bam! Literally the very next panel there's the oxygen machine. The story keep hinting at the Prince's tragic past about 10 times before finally revealing his past 3/4ths of the way into the story. Also, how many darn blondes characters can you cram into a story?? There's literally at least 10 of them. 7 of them males. Female lead had no character development because it already all happen after she died the first time so we don't really get to see it, except through flashbacks from when she's regretting her past life.

Would love to see another chapter whether they find Reese's former partner killer and/or Jimmy's friend "big job" that he talked about. Personally, I find that they made up too quickly. Redemption usually takes longer. But that's just me. Art is beautiful!

One of the better manhwa plot I've read so far. Uses names that I could actually remember. haha Didn't leave much for plot holes. Reasonable solutions that didn't involve answers falling on main character's lap. Romance-wise, the 2 love interest were a little bland, but as characters they were good.

Spoilers ahead:
What I really wanted to see was the main lead use more of her magical powers. She only use teleportation when she was running away and it never really came back up. She also learned how to levitate object but never used it.

I stopped on ch. 18. Can't get through it... Pacing is bad, characters are dull, love interests are mind numbing, plot logic is minimal. But, most of all, I just don't like the main character. I usually try to power through even if it's a bad read, but 105 chapters is too much...

I thought this kind of strong female lead was what I wanted, but the relationship with the male lead felt a little unbalanced. They just didn't really feel like equals. He was too much of a cinnamon roll for my taste. The story was fun to read though. My favorite thing about this whole story are the faces she makes!
The biggest thing I felt was skipped was how she got into the world. She was so accepting of her fate when she was introduced.

Just some of my thoughts after finish reading.

**Spoilers**
Wish the story went into depth about how Duchess Salvatore got the scar on her face. The whole contract thing when Leslie turned 18 at was kinda dropped mid-story, she kinda just stopped thinking about it.

I feel a bit bad for Conrad's dad. While he still did betray the empire, he did it so his wife can survive her illness. Though, we don't really know what happened to his mother and brother after his father was taken away, except that they showed up at the wedding. The Sperado's motives behind their betrayal was just plain selfishness. The mom got some pity points from me. She was a just doormat to her family and everyone around her, and she did nothing about it. She's probably the weakest character in the whole story.

The love story between Leslie and Conrad was lackluster, but their character development was nice. Leslie became stronger mentally, but still has the physical strength of a newborn deer. haha.

Overall a good read. The art was pretty but the heavy use of pre-made models and 3D figures made some parts look odd, like the fight scenes.

Drity Thoughts created a topic of Marry My Husband

Good read. Nice plot. No really devastatingly sad points. It's a shame that some of the uploaders cut big sections of dialog out of the chapter so that they can promote their own website... That's just rude to both the author and the readers.

*Spoilers*
The villains in this manhwa were very samey. Like, the ex-husband kept believing in Soo Min's lies time after time. I also found it odd that everyone around Soo Min believes her so easily because she looks innocent or cries a lot. Even after it was proven she lied so many times.

Ruri Dragon, has announced that it will go on an indefinite break. The sudden hiatus announcement is due to the 22-year-old mangaka, Masaoki Shindo’s poor physical condition.
