Seeing all the merch things at the end of the chapter and the promotional arts is making me think that the author is leaning more towards the MC and the hairdresser.
I really don't get why they make the second lead such a green flag and make me fall in love with them when they're not going to be end game.
Woori I'm going to have to add you to my list of second lead syndrome :(
I still don't think he's human, and are we really surprised that he's capable of such cold hearted murder when since the beginning he does things based on what he thinks is useful. We've seen the pattern, including when he saved the MC because he saw utility in him being a teacher.
He has a fucked up sense of morals, does that means he's a bad person? Hell yeah, but are we surprised? We've been seeing the odd pattern through out everything, the subtle foreshadowing. I don't think he's even a person at all, who knows maybe he's the whole cause of the apocalypse itself. He has only shown a different side of him to the MC, by showing interest in more carnal/human things like learning, kissing and now sex (anything involving pleasure that was once so foreign to him).
If anything, what we just read makes so much more sense for his character rather than if it did not happen. This shit is interesting af, it has me on the edge of my seat just to know more about Guwon and the village itself.
I honestly have never thought of him as human, he is probably a Frankensteins monster type. He behaved all puppy like but can kill with no remorse. Now, I do not blame the way he thinks like other people, you gotta think about his perspective in all of this too, maybe at that time he had no idea kids could be useful and did it without thinking. If he is a monster of some sorts he has no morals, hasn't learned what is right or what is wrong. Does that make him innocent no, but he literally seems like he doesnt know what he did was wrong or morally wrong. I understand why he killed the father of the sick boy, medical supplies are hard to come by specially in a world that isn't making them no more. There are certain rules to adhere by in an apocalyptic world protection comes first then the common folk get the scraps unless they are either a farmer, a healthcare worker, or a scientist/herbalist. Those would be priority after the guards
Exactly, explained it way better than I ever could
