I'm honestly so confused with the premise?? Can someone help?
What I think I got is that she had her soul split in half and in two dimensions and then the Korean girl got in a coma. That girl also has visions of the future of the world that Sarah is living in, so Sarah ended up writing a book about it? Or no? How is it that Sarah keeps saying the she is the reason why things are happening? (like Claude and the 3rd prince's son shouldn't have been born, but they were because of her) and stuff like "this wasn't in the book"? Did she see a different future or did she just make up the entire book?
i think its like her soul is split into two meaning that they are living in two universes but they're both her and the one in korea is in a coma so shes in Sarah's actively rn which is a character in the book she read but since she's been living in that body, her actions changed everything since shes now the best friend of the kid which cause a butterfly effect. She remembers the contents of the book but its not really relevant since she's changed 90% of the future so the only things that she knows are stuff like the "bad guys" and stuff that are different to the novel such as the 3rd princes son
That's what we as the readers are tryna figure out because the information we need is the proper history behind the mc's relationship w Claude's mum and we'll only get that info when she falls in love w the ml. Once she does, she'll one day explain why she came to be Claude's nanny which will include her explaining that its "her fault" that claude and the 3rd crown prince's son was born
I read this long time ago so I can be wrong but this is what I vaguely remember
she had her soul split in half and in two dimensions and then the Korean girl got in a coma.
She lives two lives which she hates .
She decide to sacrifice her Korean life for the Ml and his family because she thinks they are both her but later she founds out the Korean side has her own will and doesn't want to die .
The reason she feels guilty is she thinks she cause the bad events when she wrote a book about her best friend who is the ML mom .
Okay, I just did a binge of all the official translations. This is what I got.
She was born with too much magic for her body to handle so she split her soul in two having one live in a different universe to be able to handle tge load. That being g said, I think she was born as Sarah.
Given this information and other information about how Sarah's magic is sealed and how she's only using her other body's magic, I'm pretty sure she split her magic in half between her two selves as well. This allows her Korean self to see the future.
She saw the future of her original world and decided to write it down in a novel to make her feel a little better about it and make some sense of it.
After showing it to her friend while they were still children she decided to change parts of the novel at her friends request. Which led to more changes down the line to accommodate the first change.
She added many new 'characters' and events that weren't originally in the future she saw.
She later learned that altering the novel like that altered the world around her and that she truly did not know what her power was capable of.
Instead of just changing the novel again, she chose to try and change things directly to avoid the bad future she saw and help Claud who exists and suffers because she added him to the novel.
Her Korean self got hit by a bus unexpectedly and she is now using that body's life forse to try and lift the curse instead of using the life force of the body she's currently inhabiting, but it still affects her a bit.
She is concerned about things that are different from the novel because she doesn't know why they are different yet. She thought in one of the more recent chapters of the official translation that it could be different because she is chipping away at the life of her other self. There hasn't really been a conclusive answer to this yet.
I think that covers everything?
No problem ( ・∇・) it was fun and helped me solidify my understanding of the story.
One thing I forgot to add though is that Sarah didn't get all the information when she saw the future and there are a lot of things she didn't know about. The darkness the Duke (og empire destroyer) possessed is one example of something she knew nothing about when she first saw the future. She didn't even know the reason behind some of her own decisions.
This is also a reason for new details in the novel she wrote. Since she didn't know everything, She had to fill in some of the gaps the best she could when writing. Makes me wonder how much of what she wrote is what she saw in the future and how much of it is stuff she had to pull out of her ass. Just how much did she change the future?
I liked it, but it wasn't the best I've read either. The romance didn't quite capture me and tug on my heartstrings as other do (I just finished bring the love, so the standard was high tbh).
And I think there were some issues with the pacing overall, where it does have moments leaning towards it being boring.
I still read the whole thing so it's not as if it was that bad, I'd recommend it to people who wants a romance without a 2nd male lead and have patience to get through some of the plot.
