It's really not that much of and impact. There were too many foreshadowing and the way they got together did not have a logical or smooth flow. It would have been better if they did not mention it at all and just focus on Jade and MC. It's a good story. But I just wished that they put in more effort with the flow.

I would have refused the damn treaty. The little lord is still currently weak af physical and politically. He barely got back his rights to rule , meaning that all things are all still shaky for him. With the way things are going and progressing for Ars and his companions, they can(albeit with a little struggle) just fight head on and just rule in his own favor. Don't need some stupid permission from those nobles who will have the potential to backstab them again. Talk about some "you will now be my knight/sword" BS.
