As far as I'm concerned Sonya's a girl. There is one of the chapters where they say she's being referred to as "he" yes but given how the panel looked, it seemed like they were only doing that for the sake of the business/modelling business
Maybe even to piss off their dad cause God knows they both hate that man and he'd probably hate that Sonya's becoming similar to Ilyan (Sorry for wrong spelling)

You weren't, I should have clarified my answer better. Sonja is a girl and many Asian languages are gender natural, so I never knew if it was translator error in the fan translation, or contextual. So far I have only seen she in the official.
