In my previous comment i thought that Nine is the strongest warewolf but too timid to fight. But from what I've read, the strongest warewolf is Nine's twin brother (i forgot his name) and he's Jack biggest rival. So Jack getting frustrated cz he thought he'll never win against him and abusing our Nine. Don't worry tho, later Yuri will heal his fangs and tongue.
And the reason why Nine is like a beggar on the streeT before Melissa found him is because he committed a treasoN. He helped a human girl and Jack (again) found out.

But seriously, performing a surgery without a consent is a bold move. If the surgery was a success there will be no problem. But if it's not, let's hope the family is a forgiving person.
Sorry long post ahead but just putting it out there:
In the A&E technically docs have to prioritise what is best for the patients as under those circumstances patients are unable to consent. Therefore, if a patient require life-threatening surgery it WILL be performed unless the patient had signed a form of contract some point during their lives (or like left a will) stating that they don't want to be resuscitated). If it's research-related then the consent can be withdrawn after patient regained consciousness/guardian. But normally if consent is required before surgery, it's usually an elected one, not when you're about to bleed out! What that prof did was immoral and should be fired! (hope this helps!)
