Just to help with confusion with the machine translation because it’s not brilliant :
Hank’s name in the novel is Yan Hang
Junior is Chu Yi / Xiao Yi. But his name literally translates as “the first day of Junior high school” so if you see that sentence anywhere it’s where the machine has directly translated his name, so it can be a bit confusing sorry. But just remember it’s taking about Chu Yi .
