Honestly I have no idea. It seems to me that He Tian noticed Jian Yi's feelings for Xi and he sort of tries to come between them, like he sees how Jian is behaving around Zhan and then he tries to provoke him with these touchy gestures ? I don;t know he is really mysterious and he definitely likes Jian but, it's like i feel that he is really weird and he for sure is going to make more moves on Jian Yi and then finally Xi will notice He Tian's motives. What I look forward is to see Xi's reaction when he spots He Tian hitting on Jian. Because we know that Xi for sure has feelings for Jian, but for now i think that it's only in a platonic way.
And I feel that He Tian is a character that is the catalyst to Xi's resolve when it comes to how he really feels about Jian and what are those feelings. I don;t think that it's meant to be a triangle cause clearly Jian Yi doesn;t like He Tian in that way. And what do you think about He Tian;s motives? ;p

Thanks for the quick reply. He Tian definitely has the potential to kickstart A-Xi's feelings of jealousy, so I am also looking forward to that like you. The only thing is that Old Xian's updates have started lagging lately. I am not saying that it is sooo slow so that we are starting to lose interest, but I am saying that it is slow when compared to his earlier updates. He Tian is a likable character. Remember the time he comforted Jian Yi when he was depressed by patting his head? Of course, at the time I just wanted to punch him in the face 'cause only A-Xi was supposed to touch him like that. I was instantly paranoid and aggravated when I read ch 115. I wanted He Tian to get away,or Jian Yi to push the latter away with a sharp 'back off!' (which would be kinda uncharacteristic, I think) When I am pondering about it now calmly, I've got to say that He Tian could become good friends with Jian Yi. I don't really think that he has these strong feelings for Jian Yi. Rather, in my opinion, he is a very touchy-feely playful character and I do believe that he has Jian Yi's best interests at heart. However, I don't think there should be any fear of him intruding on A-Xi's and Jian Yi's close knitted relationship when they are adults, 'cause clearly He Tian isn't around then. Yes, the updates are slow recently, but I believe that it's due to his trip to Tokyo, so i hope he will be updating regularly again next month.
And yes definitely He Tian's feelings are not that strong compared to our two protagonists :) And he definitely is a likeable character because at the end of the day he is just acting friendly towards Jian Yi and I feel that he is just teasing him a little. But I can't shake off this feeling that he really has something up his sleeve and will cause a little havoc between Xi and Jian Yi. But we will see how Old Xian is going to play this out.(⌒▽⌒)
