The problem isn't the rape. It's how bad they did it. I'm actually into stuff like that and love reading it but this was just plain disappointing. It was also out of nowhere... the worst thing is that who ever made this did try their best but they failed very badly.
I mean really, while I was reading this I was just sighting. I couldn't enjoy the manga because of how many problems there with it. Even the faces and some of the poses were just like Ewwww

I'm so confuse with everyone saying i've seen rapes but this is the worst or they did it badly. Is there anything such a thing as rape done well or mild rape? Coz for me rape is rape no matter what. And even I ship a character with a rapist, I never forget the rape nor do I romanticize the "mild" ones

Well, it's pretty simple, the way it was done. It lacked what typical rape scene or a good sex scene in a manga has. From what we seen when he fingered the uke it was for only a short amount of time before he placed his dick inside yet the author didn't show any blood did not really show that the uke was in pain. The author could have also used a close up showing the dick entering the uke and showed that the uke was in pain in other ways than the same saying it.
I don't really know how to explain this to you well but basically, in media, the producers have their tricks. For example, they use certain angles, certain art styles, props etc. in order to convey information to the audience. Similarly, in yaoi authors pick up certain ways of doing things in order to improve how they convey their messages to the audience. In this manga, the author mostly focused on telling things to the audience than showing. They did try with facial expressions to show that the characters were a bit messed up yet they were over the top with it which just made it weird. In the same ways, they used tell instead of show during the sex scene which made it hard to enjoy it.
You can actually see some very lovely progress in some authors such as harada (they mostly draw rape stories) since as you read along you notice that the author improved their art style, storytelling skills and the way they convey information to the audience over the many mangas they created.

I'm just saying "rape is rape" no matter how beautiful you draw it

Your comment was confusing overall so perhaps I misunderstood you. However, now that I understand you more I can actually expand on what I said before by adding an additional point which will tie in with what you just said. Also, yes that is true, rape is rape but having rape in yaoi is a lot better if it's presented well. I wouldn't be surprised if this manga just brushed it off and didn't deal with it. The author which I suggested to you presents rape very well as it shows that it causes trauma, isn't a normal thing to do and that people who do it usually lack empathy (those elements are better shown in their later work as they improved). While when compared to this manga the rape scene was out of nowhere and would make little difference to the storyline if it didn't occur.
Really i should join the group's translation chatting. They always sharing something valuavle in their link chat.. hahahahaa. Btw really good job... I love you all !!(づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ

Right! If it was really like for reals rape (witch I haved seen) it would be off my reading list b4 I even finish reading it. But in some stuff like this one, you can tell that's there'should passion on both ends.
Why people read and get trigger eventhough there are already warning page ? Lmao
