Is it wrong of me that I want Edith to look a little bit more beaten up? Like she had a nosebleed in one scene, then it was gone, she had bruises on her face but it healed after a carriage ride?ヽ(`Д´)ﾉ , if she was being held hostage and was beaten up SHOW IT PLEASE, I want to feel sorry for this girl not wondering why she gotten no marks, when we can clearly see the little bubbles that saids “slap”. I want this girl to look haggard like she got mugged, not as if she was scratched by a baby kitten
No but like fr also when cliff was there it also said they she couldn’t talk, scream or anything cuz of the her throat but like I don’t remember them having anything around her throat making her unable to speak? Literally nothing was covering her mouth either when he was there. Or maybe she got choked at some point? Idk but like secs after when she went outside to those ppls carriage she was able to speak just fine like what??

Well yes, but if u look back at the speech bubble the bubble and the lettering is all scratched and Rough looking. Symbolizes that her voice is Rough and hurt. She had to force her self in desperation to speak then.
Plus, crazy enough, her throat was rubbed raw, and that kind of injury "heals" quite quickly were u can talk just minutes after not being able to before. Same goes from being able to talk to Suddenly not anymore. She lost her voice but in her time of need she forced it out ╮(￣▽￣)╭
I really regret reading this so late, because I knew I would get emotionally invested in the characters and I was right. I’m always gonna regret not reading it until now, but I’m glad that I did. Guts is an amazing character and really fleshed out. Griffith is also an amazing antagonist. This manga really got me screaming at it but I love how there will always be consequences for everyone’s actions and how nothing is ever there just because the author said so but because of the steps each character took to put it there. I hope this gets finished but it probably won’t and that’s okay. Where it left off fits well for some reason. Casca wanting to be with Guts but can’t because she devoted her life to Griffith ( like she’s bound to him) Griffith hurting the people around him to achieve his goals, by any means necessary. And Guts tasting pain and sorrow over and over again, the moment when he gets a break and allows himself to be happy, his demons return with endless suffering waiting for him. I wish I had better words to describe this, but I can’t put it together just yet ╥﹏╥
I honestly forgot I was reading this till I remembered a scene, I come back to find out it has been completed? Such a cute ending, I wish we get a spin off of the brother finding his love cause I need happy endings for every one
